If I order something that isn’t on the menu, it would be considerate to confirm my request before preparing the drink. Instead, they assumed what I wanted and made the drink without clarification. When I asked about it, I was met with an unprofessional and disrespectful response. This experience was disappointing and did not reflect good customer service.
A friendly suggestion: It might be helpful to work on improving your English skills to reduce the chances of miscommunication in the future.

The Alley is just very poor quality. -you can’t adjust the ice level, which made drinking this in ottawa winter extra enduring -the ice was very full that the it took me 6 trys and spills to have it stabbed into my drink -they use the cream powder which shouldn’t be in a drink that says fresh milk -the tapiocas are undercooked, very hard to chew.

We stopped in here on a whim on the way back to our hotel. The visit was memorable for all the wrong reasons. The restaurant was not very clean. Sticky surfaces and overflowing trashcans. The washroom was a disaster and looked like it had not been cleaned all day. The person making drinks was also touching her face often with her gloves on and did not seem to be working in a clean and tidy way. We were also quite disappointed by our drinks. I ordered a simple green tea with tapioca and my partner ordered an orange lulu. The staff were unable to tell us what was in the orange LuLu and also were not able to tell us if it contains milk. Quite odd since they make the drinks. Also, when I ordered I saw the staff check To see if they had tapioca for my order but I was then told they did not have tapioca once I had paid because they had put it in another drink. After asking what was going on they then said they did have tapioca and it would be ready in 2-3 mins. The orange lulu tasted good but my drink was extremely bitter. It seemed like the tapioca had not been made properly. Getting our drinks also took a really really long time as did getting the attention of staff to order in the first place. Not a great visit and I doubt we will be back.

The drinks here are excellent – well-crafted and flavorful. It’s frustrating to wait so long just to place an order. If the staff could match the quality of the drinks with quicker and more attentive service, this place would be fantastic.
If youre ever in downtown and want a great drink … I RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING (Deerioca Puff or Fever) you wont be disappointed:) Service is abit slow on busy days but busy location, nice store on the corner and friendly staff.

First and last time here. I ordered one Passion Fruit Green Tea and one Honey Green Tea; the latter was for me. The person taking my order barely spoke English, and another worker had to come over several times to help. Due to her inability to understand that I wanted both drinks with low sugar, I ended up with a drink that was impossibly sweet (apparently, the sweetness of the Honey Green Tea cannot be adjusted). It tasted like cheap powdered iced tea with extra sugar, and I found it absolutely disgusting, throwing it away on the spot after one sip. This wouldn't have happened if the worker could clearly communicate.

For the past 3 orders that I had with them during the past 2-3 months within this year, they removed the toppings that came along with one of the drinks I ordered consistently upon my request on uber eats. I was so happy with their service and the all. However, on my recent order for the same drink again, they refused to remove the toppings and said it is company policy to serve the products as they are from this year onwards.It was quite weird to hear that especially when I have been ordering the same drink from them in the span of last 2-3 months within this year. Perhaps maybe not all employees follow this rule?
Also, it is quite disappointing that I can't enjoy their products over just a topping. I am not sure if that's a great way to cater to address customers needs or requests. Not sure why they have this policy in place, but it prevents people like me from enjoying their drinks. It comes off as "Hey if you have allergies or certain topping preferences, just don't come here". Quite disappointing because I used to enjoy their service until now. A good idea to get this rule reviewed or examined, cause it is losing you customers than doing good.
