We’ve had their Breakfast Sandwiches which are delicious. Service is great. The disappointment is the coffee. We’ve tried their regular coffee, cappuccinos and lattes which are all very acidic and sour tasting
I spoke with one of the employees who confirmed why the coffee tasted sour- it’s an acidic blend.
We will return to have a bite to eat but, we won’t have a coffee.

This is one of the cafés that I really like. I always feel good when I’m there, and the staff are very friendly. The coffee quality is excellent.

Pretty good cortado. Baristas were really friendly and welcoming. Good service. Not a lot of seating, unfortunately, but they have some benches where to can and sit and wait for your order or for a spot to open up. Would go again.

Im short, staff were NOT friendly. I tried to sit down with a friend of mine to enjoy my coffee/snacks, but then we're asked to leave not long afterwards because we were taking up a table. It was implied that we have had over stayed our welcome after 45 minutes. Despite having ordered coffee, food, etc.We were confused by this request at any rate we won't be going back. Oh, and they also don't have any Wi-Fi.
Other friendlier options in the hood.

Didn’t take a picture of it, but I had a breakfast toastie and it was absolutely delicious, super filling as well! The workers were very kind and the atmosphere is very lowkey and relaxed.

Great coffee, treats, and service. Warm, clean, modern atmosphere. Can get quite busy and become very family oriented, especially in the summer when the farmers market is open across the street.

Nothing special, and not somewhere I’d go out of my way to return to personally.

I've been a fan of The Bower since they first opened their doors thanks to the great coffee, food offerings and wonderful staff. One of my favourite things is the wide and changing selection of coffee beans they have on offer. During the week I make coffee on my Fellow Aiden - purchased at The Bower - and I like to try different beans and flavour profiles. Chris and his team always take time when I have any questions about the selection and, thanks to their guidance, have introduced me to some wonderful coffee discoveries. In short, it's my go-to cafe for espresso-based drinks and the beans I'll use at home. It can't be beat.

I work in the area and this is my GO TO spot for the best coffee around. I love consistency. Consistency in taste is key for me and this place nails it everytime. The staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions and their coffee knowledge is next level. They are never too busy to explain the flavour of a bean or the benefits of a pour over. I’ve had several items on their menu and I highly recommend their grilled cheese. The first time I got it with pickles and mustard in it I was like, ”what?” Then I realized. It’s a must. Super good and just the ingredient to take the classic grilled cheese to the next level. Many thanks for making my work days even better.

Great coffee and friendly service but you guys really need wifi like come on. It's 2025, people go to coffee shops to socialize or get work done. Its probably an additional $50 a month I think the added cost would be worth it.
