Ice Irish style pub in the Byward Market area. Good selection of adult beverages and excellent pub food. Tried the Reuben spring roll (crazy idea right?)...was excellent and then had the Pad Thai with shrimp...yummy!
I have been going to the brig for over a couple years now and will always recommend anyone that’s visiting or from ottawa to go. Not only is the food and drinks good but the staff is what stands out the most. For people that love going out but have had bad experiences at bars (from people), this place will make you feel safe and comfortable. An employee that always is welcoming and very helpful is Tony (security/staff member). Ive seen him help so many guest over the years and...
My husband and I had dinner at The Brig last night, and it was such a great experience. The space is cozy and warm, especially with the fireplace going, and the whole atmosphere made us feel instantly comfortable.
