I will say, this place has been hit or miss for me for the last little while.
Some days the food is fresh, although last time I ordered through delivery, my food was really greasy and had no flavor. Maybe it was a bad day for the store, I don't know.

I want to preface this by saying I love Burger’s Priest’s food. They’ve been a staple in our home both for ordering in person and delivery. They have the best gluten-free buns and are such a comfort to get when you’re tired, and every time we’ve ordered in person they’ve been prompt and nice, even when busy.
We ordered from them yesterday (Friday/Dec 20th). Ordered through their website, NOT through Uber or Skip. I got my usual bacon double cheeseburger with no red onions. The picture below is what I received. No bacon, no cheese, no patties.
So, we called them and explained the situation. We confirmed our order and that said burger was ordered. Then we were told that they couldn’t refund us because the manager wasn’t there and that we would be called tomorrow by the manager. Apparently orders made through their website can’t be refunded unless a manager is present. Additionally, they didn’t even offer to send another burger. I dislike writing this because I tend to only write reviews to give good ones, but this was a lot.

I have been wanting to try Burger Priest for a while. It was a snowy Saturday night, and the hubby and I were starving. I ordered the impossible burger (veg option) and the hubby asked for the spiciest burger on the menu. I forget what was recommended to him, but it had crispy jalapenos, and he said it was very hot, but good. We also ordered two fries on the side. We ended up bringing one home and reheating it later in the oven, and they were still delicious. The fries were very good, but on the saltier side. It also tasted like they were brined in vinegar before cooking? The hubby got the poutine and I did not like the gravy at all. It was a thick dark gravy, and there was no seasoning to it. I do not recommend the poutine. He liked it though. I devoured the impossible burger. It was great. Restaurant is small, and with the two of us and 2 small kids (who decided they didn't want to eat anything), the seating was a bit odd, with mostly tall tables and chairs with no backs. There were lower tables by the main entrance, but it was too cold to sit there with the door constantly opening. Most people were taking their meals to go. I'm glad I tried out Burger Priest finally. The food hit the spot.

This place is known for its Smash Burgers, and I must say the meat was flavorful and well-cooked. I thoroughly enjoyed my burger—it was juicy and satisfying. Alongside, I ordered fries, expecting them to have a unique or standout flavor, but unfortunately, they didn’t meet my expectations. The fries were average, and I didn’t particularly enjoy them.
That said, the overall experience was pleasant, and it’s a good choice if you’re looking for a simple, casual meal without any extra fuss. Perfect for a quick bite when you’re not in the mood for anything too fancy.

Burger Priest has one of the best burgers and chips I've tasted on Ottawa. The signature burger meal is filling and tasty. The chips were well-done and crispy. The meal was ready in good time and I didn't have to wait long. The beef used in the burger tasted really good. Enough parking available within the lot.
However no sauce was provided for the chip, I wonder why 🤔. Overall, it was good food and a good experience, I recommend.
