Food quality has gone down dramatically. Most nights, I only eat pizza and salad as they are the only things remotely edible. I have gotten food poisoning twice now. The meat has been pink multiple times. Not allowed to take pizza out however Food boxes rarely are ever prepared on time or correctly. Staff is often rude and un cooperative, especially management. Management is single handedly the worst group of people i have ever dealt with. The Cafe almost makes res not worth it. I looked at there financial statements, they turn millions in profits however are unable to provide basic service. Plus at the start of the year there was a problem with bugs in the salad.
The amount they charge for such low quality food is INSANE. Over 3,000 per term for underseasoned and sometimes undercooked food. The chicken nuggets are super dry and the salad bar is almost always wilted leaves.
The cafeteria is the biggest reason I plan to move off campus, expensive mandatory meal plans of low quality food are NOT worth it

I eat here because it's convenient. Absolute shame that my best option to eat gives me food poisoning all the time.

Don't ever count on the caf to actually serve food. Its either nearly inedible with full bones of chickens in the minced chicken, or they wont have anything out for you to actually eat. I've had countless times where I've waited in line for over 30 minutes just to be told that "oh, we wont be making anymore food" or "oh, just go to the other line" with the other line being another 30 minutes. When you ONLY have an hour for lunch you can't be waiting longer than what it would be for you to take a bus off campus to grab food at a food court and then comeback. It is quite literally faster for you to go to a food court in a mall than it is to actually get food in the caf. Horrible waste of time

Great service from the staffs esp Marina. I miss Marina so much! She brightens my day. I love and miss the Moussaka. You guys did a great job of fattening me up. I gained a total weight of 60 lbs over living on residence and eating with you for 4 years. If you have a eating disorder and can't gain weight, I highly recommend them! And I only had ONE meal a day lol
I hated how during covid, you can't sneak out food like bruh, I spend way to much money not to sneak out food.

Abdul wasiu, may not be the exact spelling but it sure you can figure it out. This man who works the sandwich station is absolutely unbearable, In my second year now I was always an advocate for the caf especially the sandwich line, but as of recent I never have much good to say. 1. I held leniency for a rather long time trying to be considerate about factors like, new caf workers have to learn the system, they tend to organize workers based on ability as for the ranking system I’ve had other staff tell me of, and some people just genuinely take longer to learn than others. But this is completely and utterly unexplainable, I understand it is important to keep a diverse group of workers in the caf but he does not understand English, even after weeks of working the station he still does not know the difference between when I ask for turkey or chipotle. I don’t understand why he can’t be included on a location like the handouts. 2. He gives the most sorry portion of whatever he puts. I get not putting an excess but one pickle and one cucumber slice misaligned on the sandwich are you serious, I refuse to believe he’s never seen or even eaten a sandwich in his life. I got a sandwich the other day and asked for cucumber, he had the audacity to tell me there was no room, I had 2 toppings on the sandwich. 3. I don’t understand is there not general training, even in the slightest? All the other workers tend to learn and adapt, I’m continuously hearing from peers about how disappointed they are with this man. He doesn’t know how to cut a baguette, he doesn’t know how to use the panini press, and he’s still confused about how to top a sandwich 2-3 weeks in. I wouldn’t particularly out one person but this is just completely inexcusable.

Truly disgusting they’d even consider serving these abominations and call them “food”. Dissapointed
Ruined my experience with food.
Three years eating here. Never fails to somehow get worse and worse. Countless meals of plain vegetables and pizza, since everything else is not eatable.
