I Do not like to shame a business, however, this place Food Poisened me badly.Once I tasted the seafood fried rice I knew it was off. I asked them to take it away and reluctantly they did not charge for it. An hour later , at home, I wrethched for 20 minutes that I was sure my intentistines wer going to come out. This is the second time in 25 years I have experienced food poising, with the first time being confirmed by a doctor. I do not recommend eating in this restaurant !

First time at Captain Boil on hunt club. Was awesome! Had the seafood ? boil and it was everything I expected and wanted! The staff was wonderful and prompt. The drinks were amazing! Was worried after reading the reviews! Don’t listen to them! Would definitely go back again! Thank you Captain Boil for my first time sea food boil experience! 10/10

The food is embarrassingly bad. Perhaps all their main foods like lobster, crab and king crab, clams or muscles are good. We don't know. The Crawfish boil was possibly alright, but hard to know as it was my first sence I was a child and I didn't care for the flavor this time around, other reviews on the Crawfish should be visited. The fish and chips tho is an equal competitor to or the same brand as High-Liner fresh out of the box. The chicken strips for the kiddo were right on par or actually just Jane's and the lobster poutine was a flop. Perhaps a trip to Craves Poutine in the Essex county region is in order to see how it's done. I almost feel bad as my being broke aka $30 per person or less limit may have contributed to this being a terrible experience, but than again we have eaten many a great meal for under that limit. So perhaps this is a valid reflection for the average poor person. The front of house staff seemed to do an excellent, but are not being backed up by quality ingredients from the back. You could actually charge a little more for you fish and chips if only you use real ingredients and not from a box. Thanks for bearing with this one.

One of my favourite restaurants in Ottawa. The food is delicious and the staff are very attentive. This location in particular has a very enjoyable ambiance and it is also very clean. I will return every time I am in the area.
