The mussels were incredibly tough and chewy sadly. My shrimp were great though. Rice was plain on the side no flavour which would be good to know. Next time I'd get corn and shrimp and avoid the mussels at all cost.

The food was great. We ordered crab and lobster with potatoes, rice and corn. I'll just say this isn’t your regular sit&eat kind of food. If you don’t hit the gym regularly but still want a full upper-body workout, I highly recommend this place. Your hands, arms, and jaw will thank you later (or not). If you’re looking to lose a few pounds while eating, the crab-and-lobster combo might be your new fitness plan. I burned calories just trying to get to the meat. I didn’t fully grasp the menu. it was a bit difficult to understand. The atmosphere was chill, the service was pleasant. But fair warning: if you’re an impatient eater like me, you might want to stretch first.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Captain Boyle Seafood Restaurant on Hunt Club. The fried rice was undercooked and hard — definitely not something I could serve to the kids. The chicken was also not cooked properly, and the clams were just empty shells with no meat inside. For the price and reputation, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

The seafood for the most part was ok. The shrimp were rather tasteless as are most frozen shrimp . The spices/ sauce was rather disappointing. The service was minimal. Ours server had little knowledge or ability to explain the sauces, or differences between boils or platters . The place was busy but seemed suffieny wait staff but when looking for drinks , desert or bill we had to wait extended periods of the time, and eventually asking another server to ask ours which dislike doing as they are busy too. Atmosphere , basic, nothing special. I would say it's s the type of place you go once for the experience

Was excited to try my first seafood boil but the experience was ruined by the overload of salt, couldn’t finish my bag it was so salty. Had the Cajun fries and calamari to start which were good. The dip that comes with the calamari was very good. Don’t think I’d go back as the bill was high and my boil wasn’t good
I could eat here everyday. I usually get the snow crab with the captain boil sauce and it never disappoints!

The king crab was over cooked and super crumbly, barely any sauce and way way too much garlic. I had to ask for a side dish of butter, which I got a cheap margarine it tasted like. Got one egg with the broil, only good thing was the beer, very disappointed and won’t go back. I went to the grocery store for crab legs to fulfill what I was looking for.
