Thank you to Rob and Cameron. Two separate experiences with the same result.
It was opened later than most places as it's a bar. Loved the decor (license plates from different provinces). Overall, satisfactory for a late night drink.

Awesome little neighborhood spot. The staff are top notch and food beats expectations for such a little place. Seating can be tight in the evenings given the Gilmore's popularity. Highly recommend!

There are two absolute staple hangouts in Centretown for me. The Gilmour is one of them.

The Gilmour just kicked out paying customers during the Toronto Blue Jays historic World Series Game 3 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The manager/employee who did so said his name was Max.
The Gilmour is my neighbourhood bar. I love it and spend a lot of money there. But I won’t spend a dime there again. You shouldn’t either.
If there was ever a night to let paying customers watch out a game, it was a historic Jays World Series game that went to extra innings. Choosing to pick out multiple customers—who would have been happy to continue spending money to watch the game—is idiotic and bad business.
There are plenty of good bars in the area. Choose another unless you want the staff to kick you out mid game.
One of the best veggie burgers in the city

Great atmosphere, great beer and great staff. Burger was average and the wings disappointed. I would go again though, classic dive joint feels.

Fun little bar with lots of Canadian memorabilia lining the walls, great snacks and board games that are free to use. Good place to bring friends for drinks and games. I would highly recommend getting their fries as a snack. I’m not sure what they do to them, but they are so good.
