Close to the market, the location was great. Took a while for the waitress to come to the table, we ordered drinks and pizza. Pizza came before drinks, we asked about it, and still, we were halfway done with the pizzas before drinks arrived. Pizza was good. Service was terrible.

Place was super busy on a Saturday night. Our server was very apologetic and up front about any delays, but as it was a very busy night, we were completely understanding. Service time was still very reasonable, and the longest delay was from the bar -- again, completely understandable. Pizza was excellent, wood fired pizza always has a great crust and this was no exception. Will return for sure!

We came here two times while we were in Ottawa for 3 nights. The pizza here was fantastic!
The one day had a 10 min delay, but the staff had no problem quickly moving us in. The food impressed all three of us.

You walk in real hungry, expecting a nice meal and nice staff. Well, expect to be surprised (in the worst way possible.)! The waitress looked at us rudely just for asking for a table for five, real welcoming. Then she refused us to give a normal table with actual chairs and gave us a bench full of splinters and standing at the edge of the restaurant far away from civilization, instead… And while that was going on, they were refusing to put very much free and unreserved tables together, idk if it was because they were obsessed with Feng Shui or they were simply rude. They also had an excuse that a 25 headed group would arrive soon to get those proper tables. They served the food and were actually okay, pleasant if interpreted with limitless optimism. The whole 1,5h we spent there, not one group of 25 arrived… and no one was sat to those tables. At the very end a group of 18 at best arrived… they did not need that big amount of tables btw… When we left, the waitress standing at the entrance didn’t even glance at us or say goodbye as she was too preoccupied with her kindergarten level crossword of the kid’s menu… I’d give this place a zero, sadly that doesn’t exist… so it’s a one.
Always loved this place but last night wasn’t so amazing. I came in with my friends late night yesterday, we were aware that the place was closing soon and we’re just trying to eat and leave. Everything was going great, we ordered and ate our food. The weird thing was our server was nowhere to be seen. We didn’t have cutlery, we had 3 napkins on our table (we were 5) and typically they give you a small sauce plate. We had wings to eat and quickly ran out of our napkins. I kid you not I was looking around several times to find our server but she was nowhere to be found. She did come to take our plates away and so I asked her for napkins a box and the bill. She gave us the bills and my friend did not tip. She asked if there was anything wrong with her service and explained that the tips get reduced off her salary.I found this comment completely unnecessary & dumb that they take a percent off their salary. As a server myself I would never tell that to a client, if they left no tip it was for a reason. I left a tip because It was late at night and I just wanted to go home. I understand we are teenage kids and sometimes I don’t even want to serve kids my age but that doesn’t mean that our service should be lowered. Was really disappointed with the service :(

It's a cute, homey feeling Italian spot but unfortunately it seems they can never get the right cook on their pizza dough. It's either badly burnt or raw in the middle and hard to slice through. I do like their sangria and signature hot sauce, but the pizza could be a lot better especially since its so popular
