Great local pub. Small but delicious menu with rotating specials.

I have never had a bad experience here. The food is always delicious, the service is great (and some of the servers have worked there for many years, so that says a lot about the owner of this establishment), and it's so cosy.

This cute hidden gem is a great place for a late night drink. If you go too early it will be packed with regulars. I love the vibe and the staff are very nice. Only downside, went for brunch once and the service was slow and we were hangry by the time we got our food.

My husband and I went here for a date night. Although the menu isn't anything special, everything was well prepared, served quickly, and tasted great! Service was excellent as well; friendly and attentive. Although it's a popular spot, it's got a relaxed, casual vibe. Definitely recommend.

This is one of the top spots in Ottawa. The food is delicious, including some excellent veggie options (most notably the chickpea sandwich). The service is also fabulous. You get the feeling that there is a real sense of community here. One time, after mentioning that we were just stopping in for a drink because we had a reso next door with friends, I left the Manx without my gloves. The server found them and walked them over to the restaurant nearby to give them to me!!

Great selection of beers, our server was so knowledgeable about what to recommend based on our food and drink pairings. The food was delicious as always and generous portions. Great banter with the staff, i always make sure to stop by when i visit ottawa.
Love this place for breakfast.

Cozy, friendly staff and great brunch menu on the weekends.
This would've gotten five starts if not for my server. The pub has a great atmosphere, chill vibes, and no television, but my server was sarcastic, snarky, and rude, making the visit an uncomfortable experience.

I love this place. When I came here, I immediately felt transported to Wales. It’s the utmost perfect vibe inside. And while the menu was small, almost half of the items were vegan or could be made vegan. Delicious, as well. We got the tofu sandwich and the tofu wrap. Both were super tasty. The side salad and fries (they give you both!) were both perfect. Portion sizes were awesome for the cost— great value nowadays. Coming back here often! Only warning: it gets busy and no resos, so show up early!
Great pub with interesting beer choices and decent but small menu. The service is always excellent. It's down a half flight of stairs to enter the pub, so not ideal for accessibility. Lots of street parking, for which you have to pay. Walkable from many downtown offices and locations.

This place feels like an old style British pub. I love that there are no TVs. Good food, great ales, and outstanding service.

We ate at small tables, having to move things around and remove some things so all our plates could actually fit on the table. It was noisy. And to top it off the food was not great. Their hollandaise was flavourless, their bacon was stiff and cold, and there was so much bread it was all I tasted with their eggs Benedict. It was a neat location but I would not go there again.

If you haven't been to the Manx yet, put it on your list to try. One of my favorites!
