The Metcalfe Hotel by Gray Collection is a charming boutique hotel located in a great area. The staff, including Caleb at the front desk and Janan at the bar, provide exceptional service. The rooms are lovely, clean, and comfortable. Guests appreciate the early check-in and late check-out options. The Nespresso coffee pods and maker in the room are a pleasant surprise, and the quick ice service is a plus. While the in-hotel restaurant and bar looked inviting, some guests were not able to try it out. The intentional odor of frankincense in the lobby area may be off-putting to some, but overall, guests had a very positive and pleasurable stay at this well-maintained hotel. A gem in Ottawa that guests plan to visit again in the future.
