What a fantastic find right in the train station! Th Ministry of Coffee is the perfect pit stop for travelers. I grabbed the veggie breakfast sandwich and it was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the day. The vanilla iced coffee was the perfect pairing and really hit the spot. Highly recommend!

Great third wave coffee shop right in the station. Perfect for a quick bite. Good sandwiches too!
Ottawa owes the Ministry of Coffee a BIG tourism debt of gratitude. This location MAKES this Via Rail station relevant. Period.
It coulda been a Tim’s, thank St.Drogo (the Catholic patron saint of coffee and manic depression) it wasn’t. Actual good espresso getting on a long train ride. I loaded up on yellow cake like a Hobbit for the journey ahead.
The staff are nice and the station is big, safe and well managed.
And finally an LRT Transit connection.!!!
But all you need to know is - taking the train? The Ministry has your back.

I bought a lactose free vanilla latte before my tra8n and transferred it to my Yeti mug, only to realize that it was only steamed milk and no coffee was added. There were 2 people working and one of them started my order and realized they should only be on cash? So, the second person finished my drink. When they day too many cooks in the kitchen.....I paid $6.91 for steamed milk.

I can’t believe I could find such a good food to eat at a train station.
Its airport food but at the airport there's a captive audience, I'm not sure why they're trying to replicate that business model at a train station.
The staff are all perfectly polite. The food leans bland though and the coffee is just alright.

Coffee was very good, baristas were friendly and helpful. they had one vegan sandwich option, but they don’t always have an option. occasionally have vegan pastries, but don’t expect vegan options every time.
Always offers oat milk for coffee, which is appreciated. They have some vegan options for food, but not consistent. I had the vegan focaccia sandwich which was pretty good (but very salty) but this is the first time I've seen it after numerous train trips. I also saw a vegan oatmeal cookie and chocolate banana bread but I did not try. It is rather pricy. Sandwich and an iced latte came to $22 before tip. Wish our train station had more options like Toronto and Montreal, but this place is alright.
Was familiar with the flagship location from many years ago, so expected the same quality. The espresso was well balanced but the steamed milk wasn’t done very well and the chicken pesto sandwich wasn’t actual chicken, but rather cold cuts. It was a it disappointing. 🤷♀️

The staff was very sympathetic and jovial.
Both the grilled cheese and the coffee were good, but I think it's a little expensive.

Service was great and the people working were lovely. But the paper lid for my drink was terrible. I probably spilt more of the Americano than I got to drink. I'd rather drink anything else than here again.
