Came here for lunch and I’m really happy I did. The English style fish and chips was delicious. Great service and the ambience is really warm and welcoming. Will be returning for sure!
Always like coming here. Have had the fish & chips here several times & definitely recommend that. This time I chose the breakfast (served until 2pm) of 2 eggs, bacon & toast. One cannot substitute for this meal. I don't usually pick bacon, nevertheless it arrived as 2 strips that were not greasy- they were flattened & dried so no gut issues with that method. I will likely order that again on a return visit when I need something smaller than a full dinner....
I’ll be honest, I did t have the food, so I can’t fairly rate it. I was there for the first time to play pool with a friend. But the gentleman working the bar was super friendly and made us feel welcome.Most people would think the bad was “dated”. But I liked the place. It reminded me of being back home in the village a few up in. A smaller tavern with cool old photos of local kids teams and trophies from local leagues. License plates and old cool pics.
