The food was amazing they gave so much meat portions in both the pho and the rice. Cleanest restaurant I’ve ever been to, the owner said the food inspector hasn’t even bothered to check here for 2 years because of how clean it is. Affordable and portions were so worth it. Must try

This was a terrible decision and dampened my evening. A simple dinner turned disaster. The food was terrible and had a bad after taste. The padthai was a slab of tomato sauce with a ton of sugar - which was claimed to be how a padthai is.This was a dish that reviews raved about! We do not expect an authentic one but at least a decent one! The fishball/meat on our other noodles were so tough as if chewing on plastic. I would not recommend this place and will not ever return. It was such a disappointment and such a lack of ethics to not listen to our comments. Hate to have to write this. But beware!

Stopped in for a quick bite before a show. Had the eggplant vermicelli - excellent flavour and presentation; the pork spring rolls and Shanghai steamed dumplings. WOW! Such great, amazing flavours. Fast, friendly service. Will be back !

You know when you get amazing- smelling takeout, and practically run home with it? When you say mmmm with every savory bite? When you hoard the leftovers for tomorrow? Well this is it: fresh, crisp vietnamese salad, noodles swimming in nuoc cham (by choice) and slightly smoky grilled beef with crunchy nut topping. Highly recommend. Yummy.

Wanting a comforting warm meal on this cold day, the noodle house did just the thing. Grabbed shrimp vermicelli roll to start with, a classic you can never go wrong with. Also grabbed two of their classic noodles soups. Was very affordable and big portions, could not even finish a small. If you want an affordable warm meal. I recommend trying this place out.

We are just so happy this place is reopened.. their Fujian style noodle is so good, you can't find it anywhere else in the city!

The owner really care what he makes, restaurant like this one is hard to find nowadays.. 5 ⭐!

This is my favourite place hands down for Vietnamese food. The portions are great, I’m always left feeling full. The flavours are so flavourful and tastes homemade. I even get take out and it’s just as good eating it at home. The service is always good, I would highly recommend you try them out😊

My second time eating at this lovely restaurant and it did not disappoint. The first visit I ordered the salad rolls and the fried shrimp and pork dumplings. Exceptional! Pork dumplings came with this nice sauce and the salad rolls were really tightly rolled and not too big! This time we had the pad Thai with chicken, shrimp and pork shiu mai, pork vermicelli and the deep fried pork spring rolls. Everything was really delicious! The pad Thai was exceptional. The owner is so nice and service is very attentive. They also give a free pot of tea with your meal which is lovely. I look forward to coming back to try more of the menu items very soon.

Definitely captivated a return customer! A scarce number of Pho restaurants I would truly admit was AMAZINGGGG!

Two sizes for pho noodles and even the large size left you insatiable for more as you dread finding that last chunk of veggie, fried tofu or strand of rice noodle. (Felt like the moment on Just For Laugh when that green cartoon character cries out “Mommy, it’s ooOver”). You could feel the love that went in the preparation - the carrot, broccoli and mini portobello that were pre boiled for tenderness and infused flavour, the tofu that was thinly sliced and deep fried, and the right type of rice noodles used. If you wanted to enrich your broth a notch, ask for tom yum flavour in the broth vs just basic veggie broth. And the fresh rolls - yum, Yum, YUM! So tightly wrapped that nothing falls out when you bite into it.

I would add that the place was meticulous and the washroom was spotless. The tables were Tetris-ly arranged to accommodate 2, 3 and 4+ patrons. Love the elongated spoon that really helped load up the noodles and broth efficiently. Admittedly prices were high-ER ($18 for large pho) but make it your guilty pleasure treat as it was worth it.

Before you get here, note that there’s no parking. You’ll have to park along the street.

That being said, the food here is very good. This is some of the best pho I’ve had in Ottawa and anywhere, to be honest. They give bean broth is very good. I had the assorted beef pho and it came with tripes, meat balls, and beef slices. It also had a quail egg. It would’ve been nice if, like other restaurants, that dish came with tendons.

They give bean sprouts and mints for your food, however they don’t really give more of those if you come in a larger group. For example, we came in a group of four but they only gave two peppers.
