A good friend of ours told us about The Rowan so we flew in from Toronto! yes Toronto to enjoy the most heavenly French Toast I had ever had and well worth the flight. As everything else we ate and drank was top notch! The staff where all great happy people. Would 100% recommend to everyone I know to come here.

The owner was on hand and very personable. Despite it being a Sunday night with a staff that didn't know how to cook one of the menu items (which none of us were planning on ordering anyway) what we did order was well-cooked and presented. The desserts were amazing too! Had a great experience :)

I love the open kitchen and admire the chefs working and making delicious food!

The vibe is great, the music is not too loud and enjoyable (I love the music they play), the staff are friendly and the restaurant is cozy.
My friend and I are always excited going to the Rowan, seeing the staff (turnover rate is almost non existent :) I enjoy chatting to the staff and giving my complements to the amazing Chefs.
My friend and I enjoy sitting by the 'windows' to watch Ottawa walk by.
We always start with a café latte before and after our meal. For lunch my goto is there Steak & Eggs, the salad and roasted potatoes are so delicious and the steak is cooked to perfection and the Chimichurri sauce is amazing!
I have gone for lunch, dinner to many times to count, the staff, vibe and food is fantastic. There menu is amazing and I have tried almost everything dish and have NEVER been disappointed.
There blueberry donuts are soo damn good, my friend and I will share them.
This place is always busy, you will need to make a reservation.

Great food and service. Since Frasier Cafe closed we have been bummed that our fav restaurant is no more, but this has the same owners and it shows. Very similar quality of interesting sides and well done mains. Desserts were extraordinary (especially the cheesecake).
