Nothing like an Irish Pub. No matter where you go in the world it seems that as long as they stick loosely to the formula it is a great place to hang. The food was great, the Guiness properly served, and considering I was there at a time when there was limited US bourbon, even the Irish whisky is tasty. And, in a weird twist they have a excellent dessert menu. Now the service is brilliant. Make sure you ask for Sunshine - she makes you feel right at home with honest food...
I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich here and it was pretty good. The prices were reasonable, the staff were friendly, the bathroom was tidy. This is a pleasant place to grab some pub grub in Ottawa.
Went there for a team lunch, and the food was disappointing. The steak I ordered was very dry, almost as if it had been precooked, which definitely did not meet the standard of Royal Oak. The service was okay.
