Scones are excellent; however, this time, my review is for excellent customer service. I had called to inquire which location would be the closest for me on my return to Quebec. Hannah, the young lady to whom I had spoken, was not certain and could not say. Not long after that, my phone rang. It was Hannah calling back to say that she had discussed my call with her manager, who told her the right location for me to go to. I was so impressed and thankful that she went above and beyond to respond to a customer, someone whom she hadn't even seen or met in person. Thank you, Hannah.

The food at scone which is top notch. The scones are delish (both sweet and savoury). I got a bacon and cheddar melt on a herb and onion scone. It was meant to come with side fruit and salad. Instead it came with orange slices, some lettuce, and apple covered in salad dressing. It was neither side salad nor side fruit but a confusing blend of the two. The location was so busy and desperately understaffed which led to some items in my order being forgotten. I wasn’t starving nor in a hurry so this didn’t bother me much but might bother others. Regardless, for a local spot it is worth the trip!

Staying by the Parliament building. I asked concierge where is the best scones and he recommended The SconeWitch. Did not disappoint. We had 2 chive and onion scone and 2 cheddar The scones did not disappoint. Flavorful and flaky. Coffee was strong full flavored. They were short staff that day so understandably slow. Highly recommended and will come back if I'm visiting Ottawa again.

OMG - been waiting 10 mins to get 2 scones to go! So slow! There are 3 people working behind the counter and no one seems to know what they are doing! Staff needs some major training. There is a line up of 6 waiting to get their orders to go. These scones better be worth the wait!
Very busy place. Highly do not recommend visiting in the mornings for it will be packed with people and the atmosphere is quite loud. The food is satisfactory, but I would expect it to be better because of the price of the food here.
The Scones are very very good and fresh and so is the coffee !!! The cafe is not very clean..the floors are dirty , the windows and often the tables are not cleaned. They also need more help! Next time I will take out !!!

Lovely Ottawa classic. Scones here are so tasty - sweet or savoury ones. They have nice jams and Devon cream.
