I had an amazing experience at the Scone witch on beechwood and would absolutly recommend there service, great scones and awsome decor.
I would like to input that comment that Andrew has written down regarding the insulting of this supposed down sydrome individual. I was in fact at the location at that current time during said incident and cannot vouch for what the review said. The employees were in fact not making fun of the individual in question and were working hard and incredibly busy at that particular moment. When i noticed that they went in the back of there office, it was not to make fun of this individual in question but to do something in the back work related. This Andrew in question who accused these hardworking cafe workers have enough stress and pressure on their job that to incite this such baseless accusation and throw these individuals under the bus is downright disrespectful and ignorant. I am defending these workers as i was there and did not see any such issue. Now i direct this message to you Andrew, do not accuse with concrete proof of the matter, its completely inexcusable that you would accuse without any form of proof and potentially threaten the job security of these people who work hard and do the best they can. Mind how you put reviews on websites that have no concrete significance and simply wish to cause harm to the mental health and prosperity of the company. Perhaps it was a disgrunteled former employee who has nothing better then to be petty and not mind there own buisness and if thats the case then shame on you. 10/10 Thank you for your exellent service Scone Witch!!

Great food, nice staff and its on a semi busy street perfect for people watching. I had a ham and greyere on the onion and herb scone. so good.
just an idea, if anyone there is listening, consider offering affogatos (ice cream and espresso). it would be good with those gingerbread scones you have this month. :D

Love coming here before I start my work day! Staff are always so helpful and welcoming, they always remember my order when they see me! The lemon poppy seed is my favourite, always hits the spot.These past few weeks it’s been extra cheerful with the holiday atmosphere and cheerful staff. Can’t recommend this location enough, great way to support local.

I’ve never experienced worse customer service than I have at this cafe. They’re almost always “sold out” of half their menu and none of the girls who work there look like they care about serving customers. Several of them even make fun of customers in the back where they think they can’t be heard.

On a busy Sunday morning, no hot chocolate available and no cream for the scones (the staff were directing other customers to go across the road to Metro and buy some for themselves). The scones themselves were fresh but sickly sweet. The coffee isn’t great. We were disappointed by our experience here.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great food and friendly service, this is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend the Ham and Gruyère—it’s an absolute must-try! 😋🍽️
