Table was ready at time of arrival with prior reservation. Staff was attentive and place looks elegant. Seafood menu was great and à la carte items were great for sharing. Wine selection did not disappoint.
Our waiter was exceptional. Connor takes great pride in his job and is a credit to the establishment. The staples holding the fabric to the underside of the chair were coming out and I pricked myself on one. The fire alarm went off twice during our meal which destroyed the relaxing atmosphere. Lastly, the halibut was incredibly salty and we should have sent it back, but neglected to do so.
The food could have been better. Brussel sprouts were a little greasy and we missed some attractive flavor. Jumbo shrimp dip was too spicy for the shrimps, just killed the taste. Ambiente is nice but too loud. If all tables are talking it is difficult to follow your own conversation. All in all we would have expected a little more in this price category.
