Went yesterday with a group of 40. We made a reservation and service was slow. Food was brought out at different times. By the time we got our food most of or other guest were done. Approached the waiter and I explained the situation and I was told that if I wasn't happy I could leave. Food was dry. Manager did he best to explain the situation but they even served tables that arrived after us. Never again will i return.

Great service, host was very Kind and friendly, and truly a 5 out of 5 experience, don't get me wrong food tasted great but I have my issues, we had the Brisket sandwich ( issue with that is i found the meat very lacking in qty, the very thin slices I had tasted great but unfortunately the qty was very little and very think to the point that it didn't feel like I was eating a brisket sandwich, instead it felt like I was an onion ring burger with little to no meat, the price is very hard to justify with what was in it), second sandwich was the Nashville chicken ( this one the chicken size was great, flavours was great , had a neat kick, my only comment is it is very oily , made the bread more soggy and the oil can mess with the flavors of the sandwich, might be a good idea to drain it on a tray a little bit / longer )

Overall presentation was great, quality looked and tasted great!

I would still recommend the place for a try , and hope that one day when i come back there would be more meat on that brisket!!

Very impressed by the taste, we ordered the BBQ101 (boyfriend and me) and we couldn't finish it ! But I guarantee you I wanted to ! Good size plate, friendly host and server! I will be back for sure and bring my friends and family !

I just used Smoque Shack Catering for a late night snack at a wedding and the food and service was the best! We ordered mac and cheese, pulled pork sliders, and chicken sliders! Everything was delicious, and guests were non stop raving about the food!

Me and my partner have eaten from here a few times now, love it. Everything is yummy. The only issue ive had is that I ordered the pulled pork nachos for delivery, and my nachos had no pulled pork on them 😔 Also the chips seemed to have old burnt debris on them, probably from the previous orders but it was slightly unappetizing. Still ate it though lol.

We had Tyler and his team cater our wedding and it couldn’t have been a better decision! SmoQue Shack was an absolute hit at our wedding. The fact that the owner also manages our venue made coordination seamless, it took so much stress off our plates.

He worked incredibly hard to build a custom, inclusive (and halal!) menu that was not only thoughtful, but absolutely delicious. He came up with creative, crowd-pleasing options that respected our dietary restrictions without ever compromising on flavour or presentation.

The staff were lovely, the food was diverse and beautifully prepared, and the whole experience felt super professional. On top of that, the price was absolutely fair, especially for the quality and care we received. I’d go back for the brisket and jerk chicken rolls any day.

Zero regrets. 100% recommend.

We’ve been longtime customers of Fumoir Smoque Shack and it’s always our go-to spot for family celebrations. We love their food—it’s consistently excellent, and my kids can’t get enough of it! The service is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for gatherings. We used to visit them at their Ottawa location, and we’re so happy they’ve moved to Gatineau. Whether it’s a birthday dinner or a family event, this is the place we always choose. Highly recommend!
