I went with my partner for his birthday. There was a little bit of a wait to get our table as we arrived a few minutes earlier than our reservation, but we're seated right after the table was freed.
You need to pay attention when walking up to this restaurant for the first time because the signage is quite discrete. The atmosphere inside is cozy, charming, and intimate with lots of vintage decor elements.
This is a great place for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends.
The menu offers a good selection of delicious appetizers, salads, pasta, wood fired pizzas, cocktails, and wine.
We were sat at a table facing the wood fire oven with a direct view on the pizzaiolo tossing the pizza dough in the air. The service was overall very attentive.
The prices are on the higher end, but the quality of the food and overall experience are certainly worth it.
I would not hesitate to go back and to recommend if you're looking for good quality Italian food fairly priced. You will not be disappointed.

Would like to recommend St. Rita's with no reservations. The pizza is top notch, service is great, and prices are more than fair. The owner is a great guy and you can tell he is proud of his food and establishment. Onenof my favorite places in Ottawa.
Shared Tonight we dined with a large group Mel was our server. It was amazing. Great food great service ambiance 10 out of 10. It was so awesome when the chef toss the pizza in the air for a show some people really loved the Gorgonzola gnocchi and we especially loved a little shot of tequila. They are also very generous with the Parmesan. They will spread over your meal. You must try

Very cozy atmosphere. The food was good but lukewarm! For that reason I gave it a 2 star. Food should be served hot ! The food arrived very quickly and it all seemed very rushed. For the price (especially being lunch ) I found it pricey $$$ for 4 people. What happened to having a lunch menu ? Are those days gone when we used to get nice fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar as part of the meal? 🤔 salads $25.00 !!! Nobody ordered salads or appetizers or desserts, needless to say. I went solely on the reviews when I chose this restaurant with high expectations. Sadly the experience was disappointing.
Our waitress was friendly enough and the service was good.

Wow! Another amazing experience at The St. Rita!! My husband, Duncan, and I have been to The St. Rita several times and have always been very happy with the food, the service and the ambience. This evening the owner, Amadeo, went out of his way to prepare a special meal for us that accommodated my dietary requirements. The food was delicious and Amadeo made our experience at the restaurant exceptional. We would highly recommend The St, Rita for fantastic Italian cuisine, and will be back again soon!!

Honestly, this was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life. The crust was perfect—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. You can really tell that they put care and passion into what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates amazing pizza.

Went here for my birthday dinner with my bestie. The fettuccine marsale and pappardelle ragu were both absolutely delicious, and the tirimasu was amazing. Was served by Noura, and she was so nice, amazing service! Atmosphere is quaint, yet fancy! And for such good quality food, the prices were reasonable! Will definitely be coming back for future occasions. :))
