The Vanitea Room, A Tea Salon & Eatery

My friend Holly and I had brunch here on Sunday and LOVED it! The food was so delicious. Highly recommend the Beef Bacon Benedict. Fantastic coffee. Cute and super pretty aesthetic. The service was great and so friendly. I can't wait to go back and try the afternoon tea. Highly recommend this place :)

Amazing service by the staff Ghislaine very attentive loved how she gave a presentation on the afternoon tea we enjoyed very much the savouries were very delicious as the scones some good desserts aswell my friends vegan tower did not disappoint I will be back the perfectly pear to was quite nice.

Very overpriced. $50+ for a soup, 3 dumplings, 4 chicken wings, and a small bowl of what they called “poutine.” Yikes. Do not recommend.

Lovely interior and presentation of everything! Friendly service too! The bottomless mimosas were delicious and the star of my visit!

Had a great time at vanitea with a friend the afternoon tea was so good we had tea with timers with gold cups and so many varieties for the savouries which were the best part aswell as the scones with crème fresh service was very attentive considering how busy it was in a small space would go back again to try brunch!!

A super cute place, albeit very small. I have been here a few times now and the food is unfortunately is never any good. We barely touched the food from the three-course experience. The scones & bread were dry. The food arrived cold. The service was slow despite not being busy at all but we didn’t mind this too much. Thankfully the servers were kind and polite.

They at least had bottomless mimosas going for them up until recently. The “orange juice” mimosas were horrible. I am not sure what that was but it certainly wasn’t orange juice! It tasted like the Hi-C Orange Drink you get from McDonald’s as a kid! Plus the “mimosas” barely had any prosecco.

You might as well pay the extra money for the high tea experience at Chateau Laurier! It is always a lovely time there.

Went with my friend for brunch for the first time on a Sunday. It's a small, but cosy place. The decor is nice but I felt some of it didn't go with the theme like the metal glasses. Our server was super sweet which was as probably the best part. I'm vegan and I appreciated that they had vegan options. I got the churro waffles which weren't on the menu but the server sail said it's a specialty for those who are vegan so that was nice however the waffles themselves just tasted like they were pulled out of packaging from the freezer and heated up. The edges of the waffles got hard after about 5 minutes of me eating but because I was hungry I chewed away. I also got some side potatoes which were fine. My friend liked her food but felt it was nothing great especially for the price. I don't think I'd go again to be honest. Didn't find anything about the place to be special enough to go back and experience again.

My daughter bought me tickets for the Drag brunch, and it did not disappoint.
I went with both my daughters and we had the best time.
The service was amazing, the show was even better and the food was delicious.

We had a wonderful experience at Vanitea tonight while hosting a private event to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday. The space was beautiful, the service was attentive without being intrusive, and every detail was handled with care. Our group felt genuinely welcomed, and the staff made the evening feel special and seamless from start to finish. Thank you to the Vanitea team for helping us create such a memorable celebration, we'll absolutely be back.

So thankful! What a cute celebration, delicious cocktails and yummy foodddd and such a welcoming team. Highly recommend trying the new gluten-free pasta they make in-house / i'm'm gluten free and dairy intolerant.)

From the moment we walked into Vanitea, the front-of-house team had everything covered. Coats taken, canapés flowing, drinks topped up, and plenty of laughs along the way. This is a VERYcute space. The space buzzed all night and our 50th birthday celebration never missed a beat. Huge thanks to the front-of-house staff for making it feel effortless and memorable.

Vanitea still has a cute, cozy atmosphere and attentive, polite staff, but this visit was disappointing and overpriced for the experience. The Turkish egg and yogurt breakfast arrived cold, and service was very slow with long gaps between items. The scones were bite-sizrd and no longer came with cream. The black tea was extremely weak, even after steeping longer than suggested. On a positive note, staff were apologetic about the delays and were thoughtful in accommodating my nickel allergy by ensuring a safe teacup and confirming that the cutlery is nickel free.
Overall, kind service, but the quality and value didn’t justify the price.
