Dear Tim Hortons Team,
I am writing to formally report a deeply concerning Islamophobic incident that took place at your branch located at 655 Bronson Ave, Ottawa, Ontario, K1S 4E7. The incident occurred on August 30, 2025, at approximately 11:15 AM, while I was present with my friends.
During this time, a South Asian male employee at the counter began shouting at a Muslim colleague after she accidentally spilled something. Even though she calmly explained that she would clean it up, he aggressively pointed at her and screamed, “Do it now! Do it now!” in a highly abusive and disrespectful manner.
When the employee attempted to defend herself, he escalated further by shouting at her to “shut up” in front of at least eight customers who were waiting in line. His behavior was loud, hostile, and humiliating, creating a very uncomfortable environment for both customers and staff.
This type of verbal abuse and Islamophobic targeting is unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on Tim Hortons. It is unprofessional, discriminatory, and damaging to the reputation of your brand.
I strongly urge you to take immediate disciplinary action to address this incident and ensure such behavior does not happen again. If no action is taken, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to the Ottawa Police Service – Hate and Bias Crime Unit.

Obaid served me and was so helpful! I was also not sure where to take the bus and he pointed me in the right . In terms of food I got donuts and Tim bits and me and my friends absolutely loved them especially the blueberry Tim bits.
