Absolutely fantastic!! Service was exceptional, she was attentive and very courteous. At first we nervous due to the complete revamping of the menu....we had nothing to fear. We could have kept eating all night. The quality and the freshness was truly remarkable l. We simply can't say anything more popular about this one of kind and excellent restaurant.

The owners really paid attention to detail and quality of fish when they decided to offer this experience in Ottawa! I've had omakase numerous times in different cities and the fish tasted very fresh! The price is also very worth it and the service was top tier! Highly recommend giving it a try if you love sushi!

Excellent food with very good prompt service. Atmosphere geared more to the Byward market crown with dance music playing - which did not seem apropriate for the setting.

We had the tasting menu for 2 and absolutely loved every dish. We absolutely loved the flavours and the pace of the food being brought out was great. We were there on the earlier side so I can’t speak to full volume noise of the restaurant but we had a lovely dining experience and will certainly return.

Absolutely have Waygu and Fioe Gras on Rice. The nigiri is also a fantastic finisher. Owner sent us a round of Amigos Blanco tequila shots. Absolutely fantastic tequila reminiscent of rakija - a Serbian stone fruit liquor.

The salmon tataki and chirashizushi were delicious. They both had subtle hints of citrus that enhanced the degustation experience. The apple chili crunch that topped the tataki was not spicy, rather a bit sweet. They added an interesting texture to the dish. Both dishes lacked toppings of fresh microgreens as described in the menu. Given that they have a static webpage as a menu, I would suggest it stay updated to accurately describe what is in inventory and serve-able.
The ambiance was nice- suitable for a seasoned couple’s date spot or a friend. I would bring my parents here to celebrate special occasions. Music was a bit loud for my liking. The washrooms were very clean and looked well-maintained.

Chef Alan truly outdid himself; every dish was a work of art and bursting with authentic Japanese flavour. The service was just as impressive. Our waitress, Callie, was friendly, attentive, and made the entire meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic Japanese cuisine and top-notch service. Can’t wait to come back!

We got the taster menu and it was wonderful.
We really like the scallops, especially the onigiri scallop, the meticulous cuts on the fish really enhances the flavour profile.
Wagyu is always yummy and such a soft texture.
The drinks were quite tasty as well.
Those are actually candles on the walls, they started to die out towards the end of the night, it was interesting to watch…
