Grossly overrated. Eastside Marios has better food. Even a basic spaghetti was not very good. Very much had an atmosphere of being bored with the business and just wanting to turn over tables as quick as possible. With all the great restaurants in Ottawa, pick a different one.

Great classic Italian restaurant. This place is quite large with an incredible wine selection. They gave us a nice quiet corner on a busy Saturday night which was really appreciated. Even had an accordion player to up the Italian-cafe feel! Tasty zucchini sticks and chicken parm.

Great location. We stayed downtown took the O-train - very easy. Worth it. Excellent service and atmosphere. Had spaghetti and meatballs and Linguine Pescatore in a red sauce. Calamari as appetizer. All excellent. Our daughter has a peanut allergy - made a point at check in to let us know they knew and that they would remind our server. Seemless.We will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Always rewarding to find cool local spot.

First time at Trattoria Caffè Italia. I had the veal piccata and it was excellent. The wine was also great (cannot go wrong with a pino grigio). The ambiance was great and I will be back for sure.

Amazing selection on wines. Great atmosphere. Sorry guys the pizza was so bad. I would have done better with frozen. Fried Squid was yummy. Pasta was not authentic. Sadly won’t be back except for drinks and snack.
