Food was good, although it seemed everything had unannounced truffle in it. Service was very poor on several occasions. Atmosphere impacted by staff hygiene issues.

The food was phenomenal and the service was good. The ambiance was incredibly loud and there was a slight echoing effect but it didn't detract from the overall experience. I would come back.

Our first time in Ottawa. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. Inside is a little gem called The Tulip Lounge. Our waiters were Vince and Steve. Two of the nicest restaurant staff members we've ever met. As for the food, it was great. You need to eat here. I'm still here now writing this. See you. Come on by and ask for Vince or Steve, they'll look after you along. Buon appetite. Ciao. 😎

We met my cousin and her husband that came into town from Victoria and they stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. There were 13 of us for dinner and they put us in a separate part of the restaurant on our own which was perfect. The food and service was amazing. Thanks again and we will definitely recommend this restaurant and hotel.

I've been a loyal fan of The Tulip for years, always impressed by the French-Filipino fusion and incredible flavors. Sadly, this visit was a major letdown. The menu has changed and many of the unique dishes are gone. Several items we ordered weren't available, and what did arrive was disappointing: the pandesal was still frozen in the center with a stale bun, the braised beef was such a tiny portion it felt like an appetizer, the strip steak came with a bland cabbage salad you could buy at Costco, and the pizza was overly oily and unpleasant. They were also out of basics like chicken and ice cream. Service was kind, but overall it felt like a generic hotel restaurant rather than the special place it used to be. No BYOW policy and a very basic wine list add to the frustration. I truly hope they bring back the creativity and quality that once made The Tulip worth returning to.

A really pleasant surprise inside the hotel – definitely not your typical hotel restaurant. Very comfortable place with high-quality products and super friendly staff. The potatoes were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, absolutely delicious. The butter chicken is highly recommended, and the sandwich was to die for!

This has become a yearly staple when we visit Ottawa. The food is wonderful and the prices are very fair for the area. Good comes out quickly but the quality doesn't suffer for the speed.

The atmosphere is great and the staff is attentive and helpful.

The reviews are a bit too high. Tulip is perfectly adequate for a Hilton Garden Inn, but we were expecting aomething more with 4.5 stars on Opentable

We made a reservation but the restaurant was full. It took more than 10 minutes for staff to even talk to us.
