This is one of my fave spots as they have tasty vegan options and the beets are something I crave throughout the week! They’re so delicious! All the food is wonderful and seasoned properly, however the last two times I went with my partner - the food was overly rich. Now, I know that may sound like an odd thing to mention because flavour is so key with tasty dishes like these, but I do bring it up because there was a mass amount of oil/fats from both the sliders and lamb (partners dishes) and I ordered the panelle and as tasty as it was the assortment of flavours on the plate were almost too much going on that it was overwhelming. The chickpea fritter in it was heavily doused in oil as well and I know that’s what makes it crispy - but just a tad bit too oily. Sadly we both have upset tummies even a couple days after dining in and as this is one of our fave spots, hopefully this note can be taken into consideration. The other times we’ve been we didn’t run into this so perhaps the last couple of times something changed.Good service and the mocktail and cocktail were great! We do look forward to coming back :)

Food was great but rushed. Barely had our pre-dinner drinks when the appetizers arrived. We had tried to just order the appetizers so as to avoid the "rushed" dinner experience but were informed the kitchen insists that both appetizers and entrées be ordered at the same time. Kitchen staff prioritized over customer service. So super good food with a fast food experience.

My husband and I had such a lovely time at Two six ate. Staff was warm and welcoming, food was a delight and the drinks were great. We will definitely be back. It felt like home and we had so much fun !!

Great service and experience at Two six Ate! We had the Sunday dinner which is a three course meal for 68$. The appetizer and dessert were spectacular, the main was just good. Would recommend getting a reservation as it was pretty busy and we will be going back again!

Went for dinner with a friend to celebrate. Atmosphere was cozy and service attentive. Food was delicious and the cocktails well crafted. The prices are a little on the higher side but everything was well worth it. I recommend this place.

Our server was knowledgeable, efficient, and made sure to check about allergies and preferences.I was impressed with the variety of dishes that offered vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.I tried a new dish on the menu - the Sunday Roast - which is a plant-based roast served with a variety of vegetables and a crispy potato pavane.Overall, we were happy and full. I'll certainly be returning.

Amazing! Small little place, two floors. The food was delicious, server was super friendly and funny. The ambiance of the restaurant was super great, not too noisy at all. Great to have a sit down meal and still be able to easily hear eachother. Their menu was almost fully able to be gluten free aswell!

Do not sleep on this preston gem!! Their back patio is the perfect escape for the summer. Always excellent cocktails, and such fresh dishes. I was able to have a real cheesecake for the first time in years because it was made with goat cheese! Totally blew me away.
My partner and I visited two six {ate} this past weekend and had an absolutely amazing time. The back patio was so cozy, comfortable, and inviting, and the service was friendly and efficient.All of our cocktails we're superb (my partner tried the root beer old fashioned and said it was magical), and the food was delicious. The appetizer special (a pesto cavatelli) and beet salad were both incredible. We opted for the steak as our main entree, which was very very good. Loved the crispy potato, creamy veggies, and everything else that came with the dish.Our goal for next time is to save room for one of their desserts.Excited for our next visit already!

Our dinner tonight was so good. The flavour combinations were amazing and I honestly think it was the best meal I've ever had. The service was great and the portion sizes were perfect. I had the shrimp tartare, lamb, and flourless torte. I highly recommend this restaurant! It was definitely a special treat for my birthday :)

Fantastic food. Great service. They were happy to accommodate allergies. The only option however at my last visit for egg free desert was the vegan chocolate cake which was not bad. The main course and wine selection was the real star. I had the steak and for appetizer was the beet salad

This place was great. The chef made outstanding flavour combinations using different vegetables. The mix of king oyster mushrooms fiddleheads and beans was just outstanding. The lamb dish was very filling. The Cornish hen a favourite with our guests. The service was very friendly and efficient. We'll priced comfortable location. We will be back!!!
