We made a reservation for opening at 11:30 AM just in case since it was a Sat but got there before opening so that we were first in line anyways. It was a perfect setting on the patio!
Sweet potato fries are some of the best we've ever had honestly - they were crisp but soft on the inside and just the right seasoning 🤤
The iced matcha with oat milk was less matcha-y than I prefer but that's just my own flavour preference. Went with friends and we loved our shrimp roll, fish tacos, fish and chips, and burger. 🍔
We came in on the outdoor wood steps but I believe there is an indoor elevator for those who need to use it as well. Bathroom is very clean and indoor seating is super cute as well!

We really enjoy biking down to Umbrella Bar. The staff are super friendly, the food is delicious and the view can't be beat. It's a favourite of ours for our bike rides. I especially like their in-house made burgers. They are stellar.

If you order a pint on tap, be mindful that the Sunsplit is also $9.00 but comes in a 16oz glass. I asked for an extra 4 ounces on the side :)

Location is great, servers are great, view is great. Food is average at best. 2 drinks, a burger, fries and a salad for $100. I guess you're paying for the view.

Had a wonderful group event at Umbrella Bar! They were very accommodating of our large group of 13 and were able to serve us reasonably fast. Food was very tasty with super unique drink combos. The aesthetics of the indoor dining area was perfect for summer parties. Can’t beat the view of Dow’s Lake outside!

I went here this summer after for tulip festival and I really enjoyed it. All the food was great. I enjoyed some delicious calamari, a savory chicken burger, and the best Vietnamese iced coffee I've had in a while. However, service was not great. There was clearly a lot of miscommunication between the hosts and servers. We were there for about thirty minutes before a server even took our drink orders and confessed they didn't know we were here. The food still took a long time after that, but everyone was friendly, apologetic, and transparent. I have no idea if the staff have figured themselves out by now, but I hope so and would like to go again some time.

Came on Tuesday night and Maddy took great care of us. She’d stop by often, had us laughing and smiling every time she did, and when I had the smallest issue with my fries, she rectified it immediately. Great service deserves recognition, please share my thanks with Maddy :)
