The food here is delicious! We had burgers, fries and the broccoli dill salad. All of it was worth the price. We were served by Adam, who definitely knows how to make the experience a great one. He was lovely. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Got a rec to try this place ! It is awesome. Great smash burgers ! Try a burger first and the try sides on another visit I was told :). Other guests were enjoying the mac and cheese and the chicken burgers. Small eat in area - very clean. Hidden in behind Popeyes in the Metro Mall.

When Umbrella Burger first opened next to my place, I was curious. I mean, who doesn’t like burgers, right? I remember stopping in when they first opened, and from what I recall, it just wasn’t anything special. Fast forward a couple of years, me and my brother decided to give it another shot. After this recent visit, it became pretty clear why we had not been back in such a long time.
To start on a positive note, the curly fries were actually really good. You do not see a lot of places in Ottawa serving curly fries, and these ones hit the spot. Unfortunately, that is pretty much where the positives end for me.
The burger itself was dense, very greasy, and just did not taste that great. It felt like it was missing something fresh to balance it out, like tomatoes, pickles, or lettuce. I know you can add toppings like a slice of tomato, bacon, their special relish, and some condiments, but that is about it. I have had very simple burgers with just cheese, pickles, and ketchup that tasted amazing. Umbrella Burger’s burgers, at least from what I had, were just not that.
I have seen a lot of reviews saying their chicken burgers are great. I did not get one this time, and from what I remember having it in the past, it was nothing special. But to be fair, maybe their chicken options have improved since then.
All in all, if you are craving a burger and you live in the Ogilvie area, I would honestly recommend going a couple of blocks down and grabbing a Big Mac.

Food was really good and fresh. Portions are huge. Prices are high to account for the portions sizes. Burger with fries and a 6 piece chicken tender with fries was 50 dollars. Fed me and my two kids with left overs. No drink included but they were kind and happily gave us glasses of water. Atmosphere lost some stars because my daughter slipped and hurt herself pretty good. Employee was willing to check the ingredients for us to accommodate my son's food allergies. Chicken tenders are made fresh in house and yummy. Chicken was as well.

Our family and friends were in Ottawa from Montreal for hockey tournaments and one of the parents recommended this place. The burgers were amazing, the fried chicken very good also the Mac and cheese was good. Service was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating.

Okay this is so tiny and it's hard to actually eat here but omg. I get take out from here alot. It's incredible. The burgers are so good. The chicken burger too. You won't regret it.
