He doesn't look at their Uber Eats orders so don't order. Personally I ordered and he didn't even see the order. Then I had to wait 30 min for him to make the food very disappointing.
Edit: On top of all that they forgot our rice…

I have been a long time customer with a love for the spicy beef tenderloin pho. I have remained loyal to viet express as my go to restaurant. Unfortunately the meal I picked tonight was no where near the quality, flavour and attention to detail as I have come to know and love. I hope the owners read this review as the quality was poor at best. I received 4 large chunks of fat instead of beef. The flavour of the broth was non-existent. The summer rolls had no greenery very little shredded carrot and seemed like it had been sitting around for a long time. I am so saddened by the food I received given the price for one meal was over $35. I have always been happy with this restaurant for the flavour and consistency. I unfortunately may need to find a new restaurant for my pho and yummy food.

I had the pleasure of picking up take-out from Viet Express in Manotick on Sunday, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was! I ordered the BBQ Beef rice dish, and it was absolutely delicious—the beef was tender, perfectly marinated, and had just the right hint of smoky sweetness. Paired with the fragrant rice and fresh veggies, it made for the perfect meal.

What made the visit extra special was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The two sisters who run Viet Express are incredibly kind and attentive. They went out of their way to help me understand the menu, making suggestions and explaining each dish with such care. They made my whole family feel right at home, and their helpfulness made choosing even easier.

If you’re in the mood for great Vietnamese food with a personal touch, Viet Express is definitely worth a visit!

My teen daughter walked in and placed an order for sushi. When it was ready, she presented her debit card. They sternly shook their head and said, “no, pay cash.” She was immediately embarrassed because she does not carry cash. She kind of awkwardly said she only had the card. Finally, they said, “this time pay card, next time pay cash.” She said she almost ran out and won’t go back. SKETCHY. Like we don’t know what they’re doing here. Now I won’t go myself, which is a shame because she said the food was kind of good.

Very cute and cozy interior, I imagine having a bowl of pho on a rainy afternoon would be delightful here. I got a beef rice dish with a side of spring rolls on a sunny afternoon.

The food itself was really good, beef and shrimp had nice flavor and the spring rolls were crispy and fresh. Although thr food itself was nice it was on the pricey side running about 30 dollars in total for my meal. This is quite expensive compared to other vietmanese resturants I've been too. With that price being higher the portions did not live up to it being rather small.

Service was nice and food was solid but a little pricey. I would probably go for there again for the banh mi sandwhiches.

Anytime I'm in Manotick I come here for the delicious food at a good price. Authentic Vietnamese cuisine, very friendly service and sparkling clean little resto. In a hurry grab a sub for the road unbeatable sandwich!

When we ordered our drinks, it took almost 20 minutes just only for 2 milk tea and avocado shake. We are the only customer, and after we got our drinks, there's no taste at all, that's why we only gave them a 2 star.

It's got this grilled chicken and beef situation happening that's out of this world. They've somehow managed to get that perfect smoky vibe on the outside while keeping it all tender and juicy on the inside - like, how even?It's the kind of meal that's both super comforting and totally exciting at the same time

Parking: The best part? Viet Express has this huge free parking lot right out front. Total game-changer.

Kid-friendliness: So, the coolest part of hitting up Viet Express was how the owner totally went above and beyond for my fam, especially my little girl. While we were hanging around waiting for our food, the owner was all in, keeping my daughter entertained. Seriously, talk about #ParentingWin
