I came last fall 2024, and this was one of the best dinner experiences I've ever had. I've never had a Michelin experience but this would be what I imagine it to be like. The food was delicious and beautiful, the experience was wonderful. Pricing was fair. I felt like I got to experience a little bit of each chefs culture? Life? When they shared their stories as they presented the food.

My first fine dining experience and I am so glad that it was here! Katha curates seasonal blind tasting menus inspired by Indian cuisine. This time around, they offered a 5-course tasting menu along with a wine pairing. I was so happy that they were flexible and willing to substitute their meals to accommodate my vegan lifestyle. Every meal was accompanied with descriptive imagery and storytelling of the background of certain ingredients and tastes. Each dish was very unique and tasted incredible! All the staff members were extremely professional and friendly. My friend and I were able to talk to most of the employees about the experience and even talked to the head chef at the end of the night for a while. It was an immaculate experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant will be closing down at the end of the month. I highly recommend going here before then! I am looking forward to supporting future ventures of staff members.

Great dining experience here while visiting Ottawa! Recommended 10/10.. all the chefs were so amazing and gave their best in making the guests comfortable and dishes were so good! One chef was kind enough to replace my mushroom dish with fish as I don't like mushrooms!! ☺️

If I could give zero stars I would. The disrespect and entitlement exhibited by this establishment reached a new level for me. I have family from out of town visiting for the holidays and I made reservations almost 3 months in advance. Just hours before our reservation time, we heard through friends that the restaurant was closed. But this conflicted with the confirmation email I had and with the hours posted online. When I called to verify, the restaurant gave no apology or explanation as to why they never planned for a reservation they knew about for months or bothered to do their due diligence to correct their holiday hours. They just blamed it on a booking error in the system. When asked why they never called to notify me when they found out they had bookings for the evening they couldnt honor, they just said that the restaurant was too far from their home to go in and get the contact details for the night's reservations. They rather their customers get dressed up for a nice evening out only to arrive at a closed restaurant and stand out in the cold instead. I really hope others choose not to support this restaurant or give their money to people so callous and indifferent to their customers and how they spend their hard-earned dollars.

We brought friends from Ottawa here while visiting ourselves and the food was amazing. Each dish had a really interesting story behind it and the wait staff were exceptional. We had a vegan and a vegetarian in our group and the accommodations made were great and did not exclude anyone and did not just replace proteins with the basic tofu or soy protein options. A great evening out!

I booked a birthday dinner for my wife weeks in advance with a single request to not be seated near an entrance. We needed to book a babysitter to even have this evening as we have two small kids. When we arrived the only tables available were immediately in front of the door, so they offered a bar seat instead. The food may be great and we were very excited to try it, but based on this experience I will not be able to support this business.
Every dish was beautifully presented, creative and delicious. The dessert was mind blowing! I appreciated the passion the chefs appeared to have. Highly recommend.
