The service was amazing, they were incredibly accommodating, clear, and helpful. They were running low on one of the ingredients of a meal, so they offered reducing the size of the meal and giving an insane discount, and it was still a large meal. They were not overbearing at all, and lovely people. The food itself was incredible, for any genre. It being vegetarian did not retract at all, and makes it super accommodating to anyone. It smelled great, tasting great, looked great, etc. Overall, one of the best Indian places there are around here, and the #1 vegetarian of that variety.

Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian, but I can tell you, a lot of places that are vegetarian branded make all their food worse for the sake of it, but We Desi seems like it was built on it, and it was great.

Price is too high, food quality is not even ok Seriously Service of this restaurant seems like you are waiting for bus on weekends around 35 minutes never visit this restaurant and food was not hot feeling like I am eating slushy instead of drinking.

one of the best places around Ottawa for Indian chaat's, service is great. I must say that they have the best indo Chinese food in ottawa, we also tried their veg hot dog, dahi puri, Hakka style noodles. Most recommended

We had unlimited thali for $19.99 plus tax. We were served unlimited gujarati food with unlimited Aam Ras and Chaas( Yougurt drink). Food was very good in taste. Owners were the servers and they were very nice. Kept us feeding until we were completely done. Will highly recommend this restaurant if you would like to eat Gujarat food. They serve in Plastic Thali so do not expect any fancy thali.

Very good all you can eat Gujarati Thali. We were served Thali at the table and were able to order repeats of all items on Thali menu. Really enjoyed. We were told Thali menu changes weekly. That is a good idea, you can try different Gujarati cuisine each time.

I visited this place while on our way Toronto from Montreal.Pav Bhaji was okay and didn't feel anything to mention.Manchurian Fried Rice was spicy and taste was good except the manchurian was very dry inside.Vada pav was okay, nothing special.

We Desi is not your typical Indian restaurant in Ottawa; no butter chicken, no Biryani here. Instead, they specialize in vegetarian street food like you might find if you were walking in Delhi. We picked up pani puri, wonderful stuffed puffed balls, and a Hakka manchoaw soup with a rich savoury yet spicy vegetable stock and noodles. This soup bridges Chinese and Indian cullinary worlds in a delicious way that is very different from more usual dhal or mulligatawny soups. And it perfectly accompanied the Bombay toasts - grilled panini-like toasts stuffed with a lip-smacking potato and cheese concoction. I applaud the gracious owners of this establishment and thank them for their suggestions. They have introduced me to a new way of thinking about and enjoying the incredible richness of South Asian food. Thank you. I will come back.
