The Wendy's on Innes rd near HomeDepot is WAY WAY better. Their Frosty is actually like ice cream unlike the soupy mess at the trainyard location.

The food was standard Wendy's. But the service is great! An interesting thing happened to me today at this Wendy's. After I got my burger combo, I found a seat and placed my plate on the table. Then I went to the bathroom. 3 minutes later when I am back I found my burger was gone! I was not mad but found it funny, whoever took my burger did not touch my drink and fries. I had never seen a burger thief like this before. So I went to the counter and asked the employee if this happens often. They were as shocked as I was and said it has never happened. Then a lady in hijab who works inside asked me what I ordered and said they will make a new one for me! I was not expecting that but that was really really nice. Whin 1 minute, she got me a new burger! I should have asked her name but I was in a rush and did not think about it. Big thank you to you the lady in Hijab!

I really don’t expect much here, but the bread was insanely stale - clearly day or two old. Not edible. That’s pretty much it. All they had to do was not use day old bread. And upon reading other reviews my bread should be the least of the concerns…

Not happy with the service in drive thru. The guy that was taking orders was so rude, you can tell that he is really loving his job.
The night staff at this location is extremely unprofessional. After our night shifts, we often stop by for their sour cream baked potatoes, spending on average $20-$35 but the past few weeks have been extremely disappointing. We’ve been served cold, stale food, and when we politely ask for fresh items or extra hot sauce, we’re met with attitude, questioning why we need it, or completely being ignored — as if it’s a burden to fulfill simple requests.
When we try to call to address the issue, the phone often goes unanswered. On the rare occasion someone picks up, the response is dismissive and rude, with no effort to resolve the complaint. While waiting at the drive-thru, we’ve overheard staff swearing, laughing, and chatting instead of focusing on customer service.
This last visit was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at any restaurant. I’ll be contacting head office, because the level of disrespect and lack of professionalism is unacceptable.
