Wild Wing Hog's Back

Adele was our server tonight and she was absolutely lovely and personable (: She made my father feel super comfortable as it was his first time ordering - she explained everything wonderfully and gave great suggestions. I really don't understand why this restaurant has a lower rating - the staff here work very hard and the food quality is always awesome.

Adel was our server for a birthday celebration of 4, amazing server, she went above and beyond and had a great attitude and atmosphere around her. Hands down a 10/10 and will return!

Moved to Ottawa in September 2023 essentially right beside the restaurant. This wild wings has consistently given us the best service, hate to see so many bad reviews that clearly don’t make any sense. Everyone I’ve brought here has the same reactions of excellence. We’ve come here at least once a month since moving however, and won’t stop unless we move out :)

Man, this place has good food, but its the service that takes it back. They always make us have a reservation, when the place is emptier then the arizona desert. Atmosphere was ok. The darts were a nice touch. Just the dang reservation makes me so wildly confused.

We’ve visited this Wild Wing in three times. The food isn’t bad—the wing flavors are varied and generally enjoyable. However, the big issue has always been the service. On our last visit, we waited over 30 minutes and no one came to serve us. We ended up leaving without even being offered a drink. It’s a shame, because the place has potential, but the slow and inattentive service makes it hard to want to come back

We Ordered the maverick servs 5 people. . 4 other apps. And 1 burger meal. We waited about 30 min for he apps np. But 55 min for the wings and burger. Burger was ice cold and the wings were warm . Not hot but warm. Do not come here. Brutal experience. Spend your money else where

Our experience at Wild Wings was extremely disappointing. We were wrongly accused of being a group that had previously vaped inside the restaurant — which we absolutely did not do. Rather than taking a moment to listen or verify anything, the staff immediately jumped to conclusions and refused to serve us.

To make it worse, we arrived at 9:30 PM, and they close at 11 PM. That should’ve been more than enough time for a late dinner, but we were told we were “crazy” for coming in at that time and were asked to leave. The tone and treatment from the staff were rude, unfair, and completely unprofessional.

We had done nothing wrong, yet were treated with disrespect and shown the door based on a case of mistaken identity. We won’t be returning to Wild Wings — and would recommend others think twice before going, especially if you expect to be treated with basic courtesy.
