Wow! Server (Steph) was friendly, attentive, efficient, and ready to navigate my friend's dietary restrictions with confidence. Food was top notch and the kitchen was FAST even while the place was busy. Best home fries I've ever had. The jalapenos were legit. They are doing it right and taking no short cuts!
It's a rare restaurant where the food OR the service is this good, let alone both. I'm impressed.

Came for brunch whilst in Ottawa visiting my brother. My mom and I both have celiac disease, so when looking for places to eat, I often look at reviews & ask a lot of questions regarding cross contamination and food safety. After a bunch of positive reviews, we landed on trying Wilf & Ada’s and I’m soooo glad we did!!!
The service was great-they texted us when they had a table available, the servers were well versed on celiac disease and said they prepare all gluten free dishes in a different section. They even gave us 2 different mayo cups to avoid cross contamination from the other people at our table!! Can’t recommend this place enough :)

We managed to get a table here for 4 on a pretty busy Friday brunch time.
It's a small place, with a very cozy neighborhood feel. We had today's special, which was a pastrami sandwich and an order of French toast. We wanted to share plates amongst ourselves and the staff went out of their way to portion the plates themselves for each of us!
That's remarkable service - deserving of a tip.
Will definitely consider revisiting in the future.

Staff was friendly, I was disappointed in my breakfast. I had the French toast that comes with berries, apples and whip. My French toast was semi burnt, I was surprised they'd serve it that way. I avoid sending food back as much as possible, so I ate it. Not surprisingly most bites had a burnt taste which took away from the berry apple blend, which I liked, except they keep the peeling on the apple (preference). I also didn't love the coffee, but I'll take the caffeine where I can get it.

food was amazing! service also amazing! we only had to wait less than 10 min to get a table but we waited at the cafe nearby that’s also run by them and their coffee and london fog was great! their birthday cake waffle special was so delicious

I love Wilf & Ada's for a good brunch! Make sure to come early to avoid lineups. Their coffee is fantastic (Lulo brand; you can buy it at the coffee shop next door to take home), and so is their eggs Benedict. They also do great features -- they had an orange mocha almond waffle special last time we came, but when the waffle maker broke, they made it a French toast instead, and it was fantastic. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but most breakfast places are nowadays -- and it's worth it.
Excellent breakfast; the only drawback is that coffee tastes just like water.

You just come here for Breakfast or Brunch! It is walk-in only & there’s only 10 tables so expect to put your name down (we only had to wait 20mins & walked 4mins to an independent coffee shop which was also fantastic (Ten Toes Coffee - there is also an independent coffee shop next door but it was closed this day). If you’re more than 4 people you’ll be waiting longer, the ideal table size is 2 people. Food is fantastic, service & vibe some of the best in Ottawa!
