Wise Town Cafe is a really cozy and welcoming place with cute decor and a relaxing vibe. The staff are friendly, and the drinks and desserts taste great, especially if you’re in the mood for something sweet. It’s a nice spot to hang out with friends, study, or just take a break and enjoy a quiet moment. The atmosphere feels warm and comfortable, and everything looks nicely set up. Overall, it’s a great cafe to visit if you’re looking for somewhere calm and enjoyable to spend some time.

Ordered an avocado toast via ubereats, photo shows a very sufficient amount of cheese spread and egg on top. I received a scrapping of spread and no egg. Not worth the price at all. Lotus biscoff latte is tasty though.

Honestly this place is so so cute, and good for them that they're so busy!!! I tried one of the matcha's, and it was 10$, when I tell you even the to go cup was small but that was one of the worst matcha's I've ever tasted. Most of them half their price, like at Arlington 5, Social Thai and Drip house actually taste like matcha and not just a cup of cold milk. I was just really disappointed, I'm a student and once a week I look forward to trying different matcha's in the city as a treat, and ten dollars for this is just so so sad, and makes not ever want to support this place, just makes me feel exploited. Before I tried it I was super excited because of the price I was like wow this has got to be an extremely high quality matcha, but it actually just made me hate capitalism lololol. I really don't want to be rude though, just makes me sad, maybe I just picked the wrong item, but considering my experience I don't think I could even justify paying and trying a different option. Anyways the service was good tho!!
The sandwiches are overpriced and tasteless. The service is also very slow and the whole place makes you feel like you are not wanted there.

Ouuuuff, massive miss with this place with both the food and the coffee but honestly the WORST part of this place is the owner. Was here recently and watched as a guy who seemed to just be working on his laptop came over to talk to the barista and made some of the most offhand comments I've ever heard an employer make. When I was getting my order, I asked if he was a patron or someone who worked here and the barista replied it was in fact the owner......take your money elsewhere

Waited 30 min for matcha, which was 11 dollars!! I also got some cake which was completely stale. Only went here because everywhere else was closed. Honestly I’m not sure how this place is even open.

Came in around 1.30 with my granddaughter (15), who loves this place, and my husband. We must’ve hit a bad afternoon because even she was extremely disappointed with her food, her hot chocolate (no whipped cream offered) and even the service. Most of their menu uses sourdough bread and there was none left and none ready for another hour! They offered croissant sandwiches instead. My husband ordered the smoked salmon croissant which he found rather small snd too flaky. My gd ordered the egg and cheese and was surprised that it was cold. In fact the egg was cold sliced boiled egg with some sort of cold cheese. I was offered an avocado with salad instead of the sourdough or croissant. Unfortunately although it looked fresh my avocado was actually still partially frozen and there was no dressing on the salad (finely sliced iceberg lettuce with tomato and boiled egg) none was offered nor salt and pepper. My flat white was not hot and overly milky. For the high prices charged here I expected much much better in every way. So disappointing.

Great place, ambience, staff all wonderful. It's a bit pricey compared to other coffee shops but definitely give it a try! Matcha it's their specialty! 🍵

I visited this place around lunchtime today and it was very busy, but there was only one person working. She was incredibly sweet, and I could see that she was doing her best but poor thing, she was making drinks, preparing food, washing dishes like literally doing EVERYTHING by herself! They really need to hire more staff. She definitely deserves a raise!

Great location, lots of interesting decor and the staff were friendly. Our Americano, flat white, and hot chocolate were good but they took around 20 minutes to arrive because there was only one staff working and it was quite busy. Eventually a second staff member appeared, and our 3 breakfast sandwiches were served after 30 minutes. The salad and dressing were nice, but the sandwiches themselves were close to inedible. They did not resemble the photos up front, there was some sort of bacon crumble on top of a cold, watery, egg florentine like puck that appeared to have been previously cooked. This was not worth the $75+, that was paid in advance when ordering. We did not discuss with the staff while there as we had to leave for an appointment and they were busy. I did email the establishment prior to posting this to express my disappointment but heard nothing back.

It was our 1st time there and overall the ambiance was top notch! It was really busy with good background music, not too loud. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We’ve spent an hour there, and noticed that ppl were really enjoying spending at least 1h there too :)
Would recommend for coffee chat but not to work if you need to focus.

I was charged around 20$ for two double espresso, while the waiter marked them as 4 single espresso 😅 dunno if that's how it works for double espresso here

While I find the food/drink a bit overpriced for the quality, I normally love going to wise town because of the ambience - but recently the owner has been rubbing me the wrong way hence the ‘mid’ review. He often has meetings with providers at the bar and it’s very much a business boy’s club, while the staff are all young women. When he is around, the staff vibe is very tense and he speaks to them in a tone that’s not yelling in terms of volume, but in that energy. The other day he was interviewing people at the bar and asking repeated probing questions in a way that made each candidate overshare and overpromise. I’m disappointed in this leadership and unsure whether I will keep frequenting this establishment.
