I ordered a mocha coffee, I asked for cream, they charged me for it, I've never been anywhere that charges extra for cream.

Had a great time at Wise Town Cafe! The staff so welcoming and friendly .The desserts and drinks were top-notch, especially the chocolate lava cake and latte. Cozy ambiance and friendly staff made it even better. Highly recommend! And A must visit!

It’s an adorable cafe but the cost of drinks and treats is ridiculous. $10 for a latte, and the coffee is so acidic. I gave it two chances, probably won’t be back.

disappointing!! drinks were pretty expensive and didnt taste worth the price, and the barista seemed really stressed out, probably because the cafe was understaffed (i only noticed one person behind the bar in a cafe that was completely full.) i like the idea of having a cafe that is open late in ottawa but it didnt feel welcoming at all i felt like im not in the right tax bracket. it took a long time to get my drink but i am used to going to less busy coffee shops than this one!!hopefully it was just a one off experience but the being understaffed thing was my biggest issue! i can handle being priced out of going to cafes like this but it seemed so busy that the workers couldnt do their jobs

Gorgeous interior & aesthetic but that's where my compliments stop. The staff barely communicated with me, I had to expressly ask where the menus were and repeat my order multiple times (vegetable sandwich with a plain black americano. No modifications). They asked what bread I wanted and I indicated that whatever whole grain they had was fine. Turns out the whole grain was plain, stale, demptsters brown bread. At $20 for a sandwich and coffee, what a disappointment this oily, stale sandwich was! Americano was fine.I hate to complain but this was almost comically bad.(edit to add: following the owner's response to this review, I reached out to the cafe contact email to ask if the offer was sincere and, if so, what steps I could take to obtain said "complimentary experience". They replied rudely, telling me not to contact them directly and to refer only to their public reply to my review. They also advised that my review had hurt their staff's feelings. Their email was somewhat unclear, but it seemed to imply that I should come in and pay for another (properly made?) sandwich to gauge whether it met my expectations. I will not be doing so.)

Amazing atmosphere. Tones of plants and there is a variety of seating options. Perfect place to read a book or get some work done.

We got chocolate mousse and lemon lavender cheesecake both were okay but the lattes we got were probably some of the worst coffee we’ve ever had, both food and lattes were overpriced. Service was quick but not friendly however servers were working really hard as it was busy and there was only two of them. They need to schedule enough staff instead of over working minimal staff.

Well decorated coffeehouse, with various snacks and drinks, with live music in special days.We had latte only, but they served it with chocolate crassant for free.Lovely and helpful staff, high quality of coffee, and full of plants and greenary, which made the shop look like a greenhouse. Love it.

The atmosphere is great and I love that it is dog friendly. The coffee (iced lattes and a standard cappuccino) were decent but not great. The food was insanely overpriced, we ordered three different sandwiches one arrived with cheddar instead of the advertised mozzarella and the salmon sandwiches had 1 slice of smoked salmon each (for $16). Sangria did not come with ice, so was warm. Tipping options on the machine start at 20% - 28% which for service where you order at a counter and return your dishes is quite high.I would recommend for a coffee after the adjacent dog park or perhaps a cocktail but not to eat.

We had coffee only so I can't judge the food. But lovely place with several nooks, a library and good coffees.

great atmosphere but the prices are insane. The owner nickel-and-dimes reviewers with the pre-tax price, as if it's better that the latte is $8.50 and not $10.00 (which it is after tax). $11 for a small can of kombucha, $9 for dry cake that an employee told me they don't make in-house. $5 for herbal tea. I guess you're paying for someone to water all the plants, which are plentiful and pretty. all vibes no substance.
