I have been going there with my husband family for 15 years. They treat you like family and remember your name (which is amazing). There was something my mother love, but they don't have it and they knew we were coming so they have actually went down the street to get it for her. This amazing restaurant is the best i have ever seen in my life. I will see you Saturday with my family again and say are goodbye since your are closing. You will be missed thank you for the amazing food and love ????.

Not worth the wait . We’re group of 5 and waited patiently for our turn and was told to wait 1hr and 15 which we waited thinking it’s a very good restaurant. When it was one hr I came back to ask how long is still the wait . The staff didn’t even care . No customer training how to respond to this kind of situation. Her response was no movement I can’t tell you the time”I’m trying my best here”We end up having lunch at Thai restaurant and had a very good lunch.

An iconic landmark in Ottawa's Chinatown that I've been eating at since the 1980's. Big and lively with excellent and super-professional service that can handle a 20-person table as easily as a 2-person one. The best food - try the Peking duck! Love this place.

The staff was untrained and unprofessional. The food was 2/5 at best. The shrimp I had in my dish was bland. It has no seasoning whatsoever.

The food we ordered was excellent. The dim sum, triple seafood platter, and Shanghai fried noodles were all amazing!
However, the service needs improvement. A middle-aged woman with glasses had a noticeably poor attitude. Her careless demeanor and rude behavior were apparent to everyone at the tables she served. The management should consider reorganizing the staff and assigning servers with better communication skills.

First of all, I absolutely love love love this restaurant. The food is always on point and never fails to disappoint. Every time I’m in Ottawa, I always make sure to stop by Yangtze and pick up their Yangtze fried rice, assorted Chinese vegetables, garlic spare ribs, wonton soup, among other dishes. Secondly their menu is vast and has so many excellent options for all food types. Jennifer was extremely helpful and patient with my order as well. It will be sad to see this place close. Thank you for the many years of great service and excellent food.
