Even though they were super busy, the staff was very friendly and they were quick. There isn’t a lot of place to sit as it is more of a take out place. But everything we ate was delicious and the portions were generous. We had the lentil soup, oat soup and chicken Mandi and the mix Mandi. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We stopped for dinner here on a Monday night. We ordered the Ramadan special: Lamb Single Special (water, lentil soup, 3 samosas of beef or cheese, dates and a Lamb Mandy). The lamb was very tender and not dry 🔥
Vegetarian-wise, I ordered the Oat Soup, the Lentil Soup and the Cucumber Yogurt Salad.
For dessert, a fancy and freshly prepared Masoub 😋
I was looking forward to trying some of their sides like the Tabeekh, Okra, Mulukiya or Maraq soup but Yemen Gate is currently serving a pared down menu for Ramadan, so I'll have to come back!
The service was efficient and very friendly. We enjoyed our conversations with our server, and she was very nice in explaining the different ingredients in each dish. She also hooked us up with some extra dates 🙏

We got the double lamb haneeth and it was so well-seasoned❤️🔥 even the rice was very aromatic and delicious! Also tried the lamb broth which was rich and flavorful as well. Reasonable price and very quick and friendly service by staff :)! A few small tables with seating available in a small space but it was still comfortable and private ☺️
*edit: tried lamb mandi; the meat is kind of dry. Another time we were given the wrong order and we had to drive back to return it and receive the correct one. Wasn’t worth the effort unfortunately. Changing the rating due to these reasons.

The chicken mandi was excellent. The chicken was very tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with a rich smoky flavor. The rice was fragrant, well-seasoned, and complemented the chicken beautifully. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. One of the best mandi dishes I’ve had — highly recommended!
Yemen Gate has some of the best food I’ve ever had. Everything is very, very, very good—full of flavor, fresh, and cooked perfectly. You can really taste the quality and the authentic Yemeni spices. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back again. Yemen Gate is 1000/1000 out of 10
