4 stars for the food it’s good But I order 2 times Mandi without raisins and choosing only onions and almonds and my order comes with only raisins

I have been a loyal customer via uber eats for over two years now. 5 STAR food and ratings on Uber always. However, the recent price increase for the lamb family mandi for 3 doesn't feel justified for the amount of meat you get. I guess shrinkflation is to blame? Other Middle Eastern restaurants that are close to what you offer seem to provide way more meat for way lower prices. I hope you can find a way to offer more value for the lamb mandi.

Return without eating at 7 p.m. on October 13, 2024 After waiting for 30 minutes, the lady came to tell us there was no more meat or chicken. What a disappointment. It’s shameful not to respect and honor your work (feeding the people who come to discover Yemeni cuisine) we returned without eating. Horrible experience.

Ordered Lamb Mandi for 2 to 3 people (Small family size) which was well sufficient for 3 person.
I felt the taste was average and basic, not much flavour and to me less salt in the rice.
I would say overall quantity was great but quality was average.
The sitting capacity is low so in rush hour I can be difficult to accommodate.
Best part is customer service; it’s amazing. Very accommodating and helpful. My respect is for the amazing staffs.

“I’ve been coming to this restaurant for almost a year now, and the food used to be fresh and very delicious. However, now this is the third time i went there , I’ve noticed that prices have significantly increased, and the food seems reheated instead of fresh, especially the rice, which is sticky and clumpy. I hope you can return to the quality you had before.”

Soooo good and well priced. I get the 2 ppl lamb Mandi and added extra lamb. I think it’s pretty affordable especially for the price of lamb nowadays. The guy was really nice and welcoming. My card declined he let us finish eating before trying again :) so sweet. There isn’t much of a dine in atmosphere tbh it’s small and cute.

I ordered a masoob and it was one of the worst experiences. The pie was cut by hand and there were no bananas. Also, the pie was very dry and difficult to eat. We did not eat anything from it. If possible, have the management contact me and refund the amount of the masoob. I have a video and picture to send to the administration. I ordered Masoub and it was one of the worst experiences. The pie was hand cut and did not have any bananas in it. The pie was also very dry and difficult to eat. We didn't eat any of it. If possible, ask the administration to contact me and return the amount of the maasoub. I took pictures and a video of the maasoub.

Yemeni Gate is a fantastic spot if you're craving authentic Yemeni cuisine, especially their Mandi. The Mandi is flavorful, with perfectly cooked tender meat, aromatic rice.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for great halal Middle Eastern food in Ottawa!
Zero Star!!! ??? I bought a "chicken mandi" and found one long hair (see the pictures) inside sticked with rice. I felt disgusting and nausea ???.

Very delicious! The chicken and lamb were so tender! The meat breaks into pieces when touched! I ordered the Family mix, and the portion was so large that two or three people couldn’t finish it! The mutton soup is also delicious!
