I do not usually leave reviews but the situation at this restaurant left us completely baffled and was beyond disappointing.
My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago for dim sum brunch. We ordered a few basic menu items from the dim sum menu. We then waited an hour for our first item to be brought out, which was a freezing cold and flavourless portion of shui mai. We ate the items and then proceeded to sit and wait for another 30 minutes. Then we were brought the incorrect order twice, which was taken away without an explanation and given to another table after we had already started to eat it. When we asked when our food would be coming, the server very rudely informed us that if we wanted our order we would have to wait 20 more minutes or we could just leave. We decided to leave because we were late for some other plans. The staff did not care and did not say a word as we paid and left (yes, we were still charged).
My boyfriend and I are extremely polite and patient people and normally enjoy a quirky restaurant experience. But the disrespect and lack of care given to ourselves and the other customers was abhorrent.

I don't normally leave reviews, and I have had somewhat good experiences with this place in the past, but I just ordered from there and I am honestly quite disgusted. I bit into the sweet and sour chicken and it was completely raw inside -- like cold, translucent, pink, raw chicken cutlet. Only the outside perimeter was cooked. I opened all of the chicken balls after to see if they were all like that and they were. I tried to eat the fried rice but it was also tasting off, and so I just gave up on the dish entirely.
My go to restaurant for dim sum.

The food was terrible, it didn’t taste good at all. Some dishes were so nasty it tasted like rotting compost, we had to spit it out. Feels like everything was frozen and they just heat it up and served it. The only thing good was the can of A&W root beer.

The Dimsum is Subpar, the wonton soup was underwhelming. I asked for hot sauce and they brought out this tiny little plastic cup. Old man snoring in the corner table didn't really help the atmosphere. Only time I felt valued was when I was paying. Better options in the area.

My wife and I have been going here for 35 years. Food has always been good, even after the change of ownership a couple of years ago.
Today we went off our usual order and had seafood with fried noodles and squid with eggplant. We enjoyed both.

This place. Too much love for this place. Love the staff, love the spot, and love the food.
Straight up good as heck dim sum and the best fried rice in the city.
Every time I come back here I'm reminded of how much of s blessing it is.
The fried rice just has that amazing tastes like it's been made in the same pan for 15 years by someone who takes their fried rice seriously and loves making it. Tastes kinda like the chahan you get with your ramen in Fukuoka from a ramen place thats been serving just three dishes for it's decades long existence.
Also the fact that it's open until 11pm every night is a gift - even if I'd love for it to be open even later.
Blessings on this household.

We were looking for this restaurant but end up with Yang Sheng Restaurant. Though they are one and the same. We ordered the combo meal so that we can try different dishes.
