I had a rather unfortunate experience earlier this afternoon (03/16) at Yolks. After being seated, me and my partner waited nearly 15 minutes to have a waitress take our order (they were not busy, there were only about 3 other parties at the restaurant). We were then served water in glasses which appeared dirty, and had specks in them. After this, we waited a typical amount of time to recieve our food (but did not recieve cutlery and napkins, and had to flag down a waitress for it). Afterwards, we spent no less than 40 minutes waiting for a server to come take our plates and give us the bill (which was strange, given the few other parties present were being actively taken care of between the two waitresses). We only got their attention after flagging them down from the other side of the restaurant, at which point after asking for two bills, we were given one. Their card reader was malfunctioning for whatever reason, so we ended up paying cash. Overall, the food was good but the service was terrible.

10/10. Eddie was amazing and kind. The food exceeded my expectations. Would definitely be going back. The truffle wedges were top tier and the portions were more than I expected too. 100% recommend!!

Stopped in on a weekend morning with my partner. There was no line, and the server at the entrance told us a table just needed to be cleaned before we could be seated. While we were waiting, another employee came over. We let him know we were already being helped and just waiting on the server. Instead of clarifying or checking, he abruptly told us it would be a 40‑minute wait because there were other parties on the list.
Being told there’s a waitlist is fine. Being corrected is fine. But the way it was delivered was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially when the confusion came from their own staff, not us. A simple apology or even a neutral explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, the interaction felt hostile and off‑putting.
We ended up leaving, and honestly, after that experience, we’re not interested in trying again.
Update: Emailed restaurant a month ago as per their request just to not get a response.

The tater-tots and fries, phenomenal. The pancakes were so fluffy and filling. The burger was so flavourful, wouldn’t change anything about it. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful breakfast spot with some fun menu items (cinnamon pancakes and walnut french toast!)! We split: an avocado benny and chocolate-strawberry pancakes, reasonable prices, great portions and tasted amazing too (tots were great)! Service and workers were so so sweet and welcoming, and it did not take too much time to get a table despite being on the text waitlist. The seating inside feels very nice and bright too, the music taste was 🤌 ! Def will be coming back for more 🍫🍓

I’ve been here twice and both times I really enjoyed my breakfast. Food tasted delicious and, from what I heard, was made with quality ingredients.
The first time I went it was a little busy and loud, but the good food made up for that. The second time was less busy and a good volume, and so the good food made that experience even better.
I would eat here again.

Food was delicious! The staff were all SO friendly and kind and accommodating, and just so personable. I came here expecting a “chain restaurant”-vibe, but was pleasantly surprised by the cozy and bright vibes. Really felt like the staff went out of their way to take care of us and the toddler we brought with us. I wish the fruit sides were a little more sizeable, but otherwise food was delicious!
