As a vegan I love and support a small vegan business - we need more in this city! However, as others have mentioned, the high prices without combos can be a detterent for folks to try. I love the wonton soup, dumplings, bao buns, admiral chicken, and chow mein.
Tonight I tried the Kung Pao tofu and veggies and it had cucumber in it ... warm cucumber? Weird. Not sure if this is traditional or always the case? Needless to say I didn't eat the warm cucumber. If the prices were lower it would be 5/5. Good portion sizes but not reflective of price.

Ordered for my birthday this evening and it was UNREAL!!!!!! We hadn’t had proper Chinese takeout since going plant based years ago and this was beyond amazing! We got the fried rice, yugi rolls, yugi balls, admiral yugi chik’n, and siu mai dumplings!!!!!! Will 11/10 order again and going to get the family onboard for holidays, like Xmas Eve, if we can order then too!

Enjoyed an order with an omnivore friend of mine and we raved about this food for days to anyone who would listen...and maybe a few who wouldn't. The rolls are great, the fried mushrooms with a scallion sauce were amazing, the lemon chick'n brought me back to my childhood. I can't wait till I visit Ottawa again and can place another order. Thank you for providing such amazing Chinese food for vegans that even makes omnivores happy too!

I was super excited to order from here until I saw the prices. Almost $30 for the sweet and sour balls. They have no combo options either so if you want to try like 3 things it’s cost an arm and a leg

Excellent vegan Chinese food! I can't afford to eat there every week, but I wish I can because their food is delicious!
It's a takeout place so don't expect much. Do check their social media because they do a lot of pop-ups.

Whenever I go to the Vegans Who Snack festival in Ottawa, this restaurant is almost always there. If so, I always stop by their vendor and order the vegan shrimp. It is so good! Their menu is entirely vegan, which is amazing!

Amazing, tasty food! So many great options. We have ordered pickup from them twice and both times went well. When you arrive, just ring the buzzer to the left of the door and they'll bring the food out to you. The Jado fried oyster mushrooms are not to be missed. Also try the custard buns.

Labelled food as gluten free at vegans who snack and made me very very sick with no apology and still can't understand why labelling food gluten free but cooking it in the fryer with gluten means it's not gluten free. Very disappointed in the food safety and owner's response.
