Paid way too much almost $90 for nothing special brunch. The eggs benny were on a thick slice of hard to chew ham. Eggs were requested soft but were hard. Server was also up front that the home fries and tater tots come from a bag. There was shredded lettuce under the benny sauce, I think it was supposed to be a sad garnish with tomatoes. Just not worth the price. Will not likely return.

Pre-made Sysco food to save on labor costs, Overpriced for what you get. Servers were too busy chatting and looking down at their phones instead of making sure the customers are okay. Not once she came and asked if our food was okay or if we needed more coffee etc. Bland breakfast if you ask me. Deep fried home fries etc. Yes home fries are time consuming to make from scratch but this one reason I use to go to Dynasty's in Vanier (Now closed). They seem to treat regulars better than new customers.

First time at this location and was treated unfairly. Discrimination if you’re not a regular . Seems they don’t welcome new business. Unfortunately I’ve been going to Zacks since they first opened in the market. A middle aged couple sitting in a booth in front of me demanded I turn my phone off as they could hear it. It was on low and after she spit all her food over the back of the bench while yelling at me I asked her to clean it as other customers will sit there. The husband got the waitress who sided with them stating they are regulars. How discriminative . I guess if you don’t frequent this location often then you’re not welcomed. The both waitresses made it clear that these people are regulars. It’s sad that these customers can dictate who get good service. After the incident I will NEVER GO BACK! I have many friends who live in westboro and will share my experience with them. I will continue to go to other locations where they treat everyone equal. Being in business myself I am totally appalled by this.

Food was not good at all. Omelette did not have taste of eggs (I think they used some liquid version that came from the container). Sausages were overcooked and had weird taste. Toast looked and tasted like it was dipped in to the Margarine (they don’t use butter to save money). Few hrs later I developed a skin rush that could have been a reaction to the cheap oils they use.

This was my first try at Zak's Westboro, and I think my last. I had the usual breakfast of coffee, two eggs over medium, bacon, home fries--wait, I ordered home fries but received tater tots. Ugh. Tater tots. And the coffee was weak. And the prices were higher than in other diners. Did I mention that I got tater tots? Eww.
The interior is spacious and really attractive, with tile floors, spacious tables, comfortable booths, lots of dark wood, and pleasant lighting, but mediocre food and service and very, very limited parking mean it's not worth the trouble.

My poached eggs were hard, our server was polite but never came to ask how our meal was, never offered more coffee or water. We had to ask for more when our plates were cleared.

Go anywhere else literally staying hungry is better than coming here.
Go to any other Zak’, Dinner. Downtown location is top notch and has never disappointed.
Went in with my friends as we all needed a hungover meal. All of our orders came out wrong.
I ordered the great Canadian with extra sausages. End up getting what we appropriately renamed the Poor Canadian.
1 single thin cut slice of bacon
Taters
2 terrible french toasts
Grey fruit with rationed cantaloupe (really thin slices).
2 sad eggs
Then I asked for the beans, the toast and the sausages that were supposed to come with it.
Never got the sausages.
Toast was done by microwave.
The beans were delivered in the smallest dip cup.
I also ordered a milkshake and that was ok. Thank god beacuse aimagine messing up a milkshake.
Total for the order
$45
Felt robbed, got out of there hungry and I’m writing this while in the bathroom.
Should’ve stayed hungry at home, at least I would’ve been happy.
Or ordered with uber eats because at least I could’ve got a refund for all the missing items.

Very solid experience, well-kept with good staff. A touch spendy.
Parking: Best enjoyed walking or by public transit. Didn't see bike parking, even, though it was winter.

Dropped in for late afternoon happy hr.
Service was good and the beer was cold but the place smelled like a sewer line had broken somewhere. Mentioned to staff who said it wasn’t the 1st time. Yuk!
Fix it please!
We were able to just walk in without a reservation on a Sunday at noon. Our breakfasts came quickly and were quite good. Nice atmosphere and service.

Great place for breakfast and burgers.
This place had really great service! Waiters were amazing and attentive. Food came out quick. Better than your usual breakfast place! Milkshakes are always great here. Never had a problem. Tried the quesadilla and it wasn’t too bad. I’ll probably stick to the classics of burgers, sandwiches, and breakfast.
Hoping to swing by again soon!
