Wonderful menu and ambience. We fully enjoyed our dinners and desserts. The service was excellent as well. A little pricey but reasonable for a special occasion.
Delicious food At treat for the eyes and the palette. We started with Chefs Salad and Remoulade Salad. Delicious We had the Lobster Risotto and the Braised Short Rib. Both were excellent and flavourful. Beef was fork tender and generous portions of lobster were in the risotto We each ordered dessert as a treat. Carrot Cake, Orchard Gold and Pear & Pecan. All three were delicious and beautifully presented. Fabulous meal. Service from everyone was excellent. Well organized and attentive
My guest and I had a reservation for the High Tea at 1:45 on Thursday Dec. 18, res. #201104. Unfortunately for us our arrival at the Château Laurier was far less than pleasant. The reservation staff had overbooked the tables but had nevertheless accommodated all registered guests thus causing a domino effect on later guests. Our reservation was finally accepted and we were taken to our table 45 minutes late. Frustrating start which disappeared when we were finally seated. We were offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco and the quiet and peaceful atmosphere made the frustration disappear. The High Tea was delicious, sandwiches fresh and tasty, sweets and scones perfect. Our server Chantal was helpful, attentive and sociable. Please extend our thanks to Chantal. All in all my guest very much enjoyed our time at the Château Laurier's High Tea.
We had a great time at tea, the food was delicious, but we had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation before we were seated, and the restaurant really did nothing about this. Not even an apology.
My BF and I have an annual tradition of shopping followed by high tea at Zoe's - the holiday menu was a nice change and the food and service remained impeccable. It is pricey but worth it for the experience.
What a civilized spot for a wonderful lunch experience. Great selections on the menu and super delicious cocktails.
C'est toujours un grand plaisir de prendre le service de thé de l'après midi au Château Laurier. Il y a une explosion de saveur à chaque bouchée.
Great to go on a week day when it's not as busy. Delicious treats were all presented beautifully with friendly, helpful staff. The festive Christmas trees and decorations in the foyer made for a lovely visit.
Cozy yet elegant, comfortable yet tasteful decor - such a lovely afternoon lunch. Think we will make it a regular date :-) Of note, I really liked the cocktail list having both alcohol free and low alcohol options.
Unparalleled evening drinks and dining experience at Zoe's in the Chateau Laurier. The beautiful ambience, great service, impressive wine list and cocktail menu, and great r course the high quality food. Outstanding experience each and every time.

Great experience and fun. Nice afternoon with just adults and experience to be done again.
Zoe's at the Fairmont is such a beautiful spot for high tea. From the moment we sat down, the experience felt elegant yet relaxed. The presentation of the tea service was stunning, and every bite—from the delicate sandwiches to the pastries and scones—was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The tea selection was excellent, and the staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is classic and cozy, making it the perfect place to catch up with friends or celebrate a special occasion. A truly lovely experience from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a refined and memorable high tea in Ottawa.
This was a really nice experience, especially for the Christmas holiday theme. Highly recommend going if you're in Ottawa.
Considering this was “Christmas afternoon tea” there was zero festive decorations or special Christmas cocktails - which was a big disappointment! Since the decor is pink they could have carried that theme in Christmas decorations or the very least have poinsettias - NOTHING! The food was OK, the Bellini and French75 was nothing to write about, no garnish on the cocktails, even a few floating cranberries would have made them festive! Our server Nicole was fabulous, she was friendly and welcoming, unlike the hostess who sat us (if you don't like your job find another one that you don't deal with ppl). As a whole it was quite disappointing for $237.30!! Plus only street parking left much to be desired, we had to put our coats on the back of our chairs. The Fairmont brand has certainly declined!
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Zoe's. The food was delicious and we enjoyed great service and ambience.
