First time visitor, in Ottawa for business. I realized on my last day the hotel I was staying at, Fairmont Chateau Laurier, had a restaurant called Zoe's. I came for lunch and had the pleasure of being served by Anoushka who was very polite, nice, well versed with her menu and ability to make me feel at home. What an amazing dinner! The food was delicious, and the ambiance was fantastic.
We chose the Valentine’s Day menu. The Denver steak was excellent—tender, moist, and cooked to perfection. It paired beautifully with the creamy porcini cream, which was the highlight of the dish, along with the shallot vinaigrette jam and chili rapini.
The lobster salad was delicious, though we felt it could be elevated to another level. The Tropical Love dessert cake was enjoyable...
