Went for breakfast. I had eggs with pemeal bacon, homefries, toast, and coffee. My daughter had poached eggs with homefries and coffee. Our meals were good, The service was quick and friendly.
We were in Owen Sound for the day and it was lunch time. The Boot and Blade had a good Google rating. We got there after 12 and it was quite busy but, we were seated promptly. The place is decorated with dozens of hockey photographs, jerseys, skates and sticks. Mostly of local team and players. My wife ordered the chicken salad and I had the chowder special which came with a grilled cheddar cheese sandwich.
