Went with a friend and got halibut and French fries. The halibut was okay but the fries were not good at all. They didn't have a great texture(kinda that texture you get from re cooked fries) and the oil was definitly old and gave them a bit of a bitter bland taste. Service was okay, not quite to par but staff were at least friendly. The atmosphere wasn't to bad though it was roomy bright and had nice decorations but still a bit dated when it comes to fit and finish. Also the price was too expensive especaily considering the quality of the food.

unfortunatly this used to be a great place for fish but after ownership change its not so much anymore, ordered for pick up, waited 20 minutes past the time we ordered it for, got home to soggy undercooked fish, dried out fries and the taste of old fryer oil. certainly do not recommend anymore.

My partner was craving fish and chips while on vacation visiting Owen Sound, but due to dietary restrictions, I couldn't have anything. Cathy, our waitress was concerned that I was only having water. I explained that the only restaurant food I could have was a plain baked potato, and most restaurants don't have that. I was very pleasantly surprised when Cathy brought out a microwaved potato for me (not on the menu), along with my partner's meal! Cathy is so thoughtful and considerate! My partner really enjoyed the fish and chips too. Thanks again!
