When I arrived, there was 1 inch in the bottom of the second coffee pot. I meant to let the lovely server know that I'd like to wait for a fresh pot, but decided against it thinking the place was busy. It was probably fresh. I nearly choked on the bitterness and strength of the coffee. However, the service was good and the toasted western was perfect.
I had such a wonderful breakfast here! The atmosphere is so cozy, the food was excellent, and the prices were very fair. The staff, all seniors, were absolutely lovely and made the experience even more charming.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to stop in on our way home from our camping trip and discovered this little gem. It was a cute little place run by a couple of wonderful ladies. My boyfriend and I each got the Sunshine Platter and boy was it good! Not greasy at all and everything tasted very fresh. Coffee was also very good and fresh. I wish we lived closer cause this would be a regular spot for us. If we are ever in Owen Spund again, we know we will be going here again....
