Burger was great didn't like the fries
It's a bit expensive for fast food but have the best burgers ever.
Very disappointing with the food, burger was average, didn't finish my fries as half of them were over cooked. The best part of my meal was the side of pickles which was 3. You think you'll get a lot for a cheeseburger combo that cost over $25.
Combos are ridiculously priced. $20.99 for a burger and fry combo.
Says it closes at 8pm. Arrived at 7:45pm and it was closed. Annoying after rushing to get there, won't bother in the future.
Licks is a top quality burger. This franchise in Parry Sound is a lonnnnng, long way from the Original Licks Experience in The Beach [Queen St East] in the 80s, however.
But the franchise has done a reasonable job in an unlikely location for well over 10 years, now. It still delivers a quality hot charbroiled burger on nice soft bun, with a bevy of fresh condiments, including lettuce, tomatoes, hot peppers, and Spanish onions. Freshly shredded cheddar is available for your burger. Licks special garlic mayo is unique.
If burgers aren't your thing, both their chicken sandwich and signature hotdogs are also excellent.
Fries are available, as is poutine, but the onion rings are the real prize. All three are great - fresh & hot.
The only drawback is the price point - Licks is great, but you pay a premium price. $20 plus.
Licks was way better in the beaches. Great to see this location is still hanging on but it wasn’t as good as I remember it being and quite expensive.
Still my favorite complete burger. You can tell me Five Guys, Big boy, Star Burger, Burger Priest, none of them hold a candle to the Licks Homeburger. Just such a shame this is the only one left and it’s over 2 hours away. I still find excuses to go that direction. Great Burger guys, keep it up, and if at all possible an Oshawa franchise would be perfect.
Great lunch, lovely staff.
Always good!

Very friendly staff members. Food was so yummy!! Brought me back to my first experience with Licks burgers from the Beaches in Toronto when my grandmother would take me there. Honestly the best burger ever!! And it still is! My husband and I were stuffed when we left. We also had poutine. I have only one complaint, that when you order a burger you have to pay an extra $2.50 for cheese. Not worth it for that price and the burger is so good you won’t even miss the cheese.
It was not as clean as usual and long waits for food. My fries were cold.
Expensive, $25 for a cheeseburger, fries and a soda.
Didn't think the food was good
