Seguin Valley Golf Club Inc Reviews
It's a beautiful course, tricky and narrow. Very well maintained. If you're in the area it's worth playing. However, it's a long course to play, 4.5hrs as it's a few minutes drive between each hole. I wish the bar was open before 9am as you can't get anything until the 9th hole and there is no cart girl.
Great course, in really amazing shape
Cabin are well maintained
Overall a great experience and a real hidden gem. Would recommend to all for a stay and play
We played Seguin Valley for the first time this week. What a truly spectacular, challenging and enjoyable course to play. A championship course in every way. I highly recommend it!

Seguin Valley Golf Club Inc is a scenic golf course located in the beautiful Muskoka region, offering a wonderful challenge for golfers. The course is well maintained, with greens and grounds kept in excellent condition, even in late seasons. It features some stunning holes, such as the par-4 11th and the 7th hole, which provides a gorgeous view and is considered one of the most beautiful holes in Ontario. Players enjoy the variety of T boxes, which add challenges and keep each round interesting. The course's design is unique and challenging, with tricky holes and tight fairways that test skills. Greens are fast and true, making putting a fun but sometimes tricky experience, especially on the 7th hole.
The clubhouse provides helpful and friendly staff, including a welcoming lady who assists with carts and check-ins. The service is first class, from check-in to food and drink service, as noted by many visitors. There is a convenient practice area near the first tee, and the grounds are kept very clean, enhancing the experience. The scenery around the course is beautiful, and the fire pit beside the water adds to the relaxing atmosphere, especially for those staying in the cabins. The cabins are fully stocked and well kept, providing a great stay for groups, with some enjoying the nearby water and outdoor activities like canoeing and kayaking.
While the course is generally in great shape, some players note that the drainage can be an issue, especially after heavy rain, making the course soggy at times. The staff, including marshals and the starter, work to keep play moving, and the greens can be challenging if you land on the wrong side of the hole. The pro shop can be slow to answer calls, and policies such as no beverage cart and bag inspection may seem unnecessary. Prices are reasonable, with a round costing $130 on weekends, making it an enjoyable and memorable golf experience for those willing to bring extra balls and a strategic mindset. Overall, Seguin Valley Golf Club Inc is a charming and highly recommended course for anyone seeking a beautiful and challenging round of golf in Muskoka.
