Went here today. Inside was empty so we asked to be sat inside. There were lots of flies and I cleaned tables. We waited over 10 minutes and no one had come to even ask what we wanted to drink. We went to sit outside as the waitresses seemed to hover out there a little more but again no one came and the tables were all dirty. We left and no one had even noticed we were there or left.. π€·π»ββοΈ

So we have been to tjs in Niagara Falls and loved it several times we have had the same meal there as we did tonight here in parry sound ,but tonight we could not enjoy our meal at all as we had so many flies landing on us and our food it was terrible. The blackened basa was so over powering with spice I could not enjoy my meal also it was suppose to be lobster mash potatoes and they were regular mashed there was no lobster mashed on my plate also the vegetables were very greasy .Our server did not check on us till we were done our meal As we seen she had been on the phone .I do have pictures of the flies all over the ceiling above us and the blackened basa if I have to show .

Awesome experience at the Parry Sound Turtle Jacks Location! Staff are great and our server was super attentive and helpful. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken wrap and the Thai Chicken salad and both tasted amazing! Restaurant was clean and a great experience all around.
Dietary restrictions: Server was super helpful with gluten free items!

Was there with my wife last week, service was great, plenty of food and good attention to detail by staff. Nick is doing excellent job
Was surprised at the pricing. We are from Burlington but your prices were higher. 45 day hung steak which was ordered. We know our steak and this is NOT a 45 day hung steak. Very tough. Ordered medium rare came back as well done. It was replaced but still tough. And again not 45 days. Server was pleasant but didn't knw what an oaked chardonnay was. Then a $150.00 bill to boot. Will be a while before we return. I guess being a "Tourist" town restaurants feel justified in charging extra.

I wanted to love it, I ate at a Turtle Jacks in Vaughan about 15 years ago and it was fantastic. Nothing about the Parry Sound Turtle Jacks is fantastic at this point in time except the location, it overlooks the marina on Georgian Bay. The Good: - The food was good quality, I had the βHeck of a Burgerβ with side Greek salad. The burger was chargrilled, bun and toppings were fresh. The patty was house made, maybe a bit small but delicious. The salad was fresh and nice. The party of 4 at the table across from me all ordered wings with NY butter sauce and the wings looked good and the sauce smelled delicious. - The waitresses were polite. - The restaurant has a nice location The Bad: - the Greek salad dressing was sweet, I think it was basic Kraft. It took away from an otherwise lovely salad. - there are flies everywhere in the dining room. Itβs disgusting. Order your beer in a bottle. - there were ongoing loud banging noises from the kitchen, like someone was chipping ice or defrosting a freezer at 6:00pm when the restaurant had customers. - The waitresses had shift change at 5:00pm. Service was really excruciating slow between 5:00 and 5:30pm due to shift change. In short, I would come back if someone I was with wanted to but would stick to bottled drinks, burgers and wings. This restaurant could be so much better if it was properly managed.
Wonderful dinner with amazing service staff ?

Would have been better but entrance was open and there were flies constantly irritating us. Had to keep swatting them away. There were 11 of us and we had to be separated into two tables despite calling far ahead in advance. Service was slow and server was confused who ordered what with plates coming out slowly.

Donβt go! September Friday evening. 16 degrees outside with a 19 month old toddler. Called ahead for availability and told that a large party had a reservation for 7:30. We arrived at 5:00 for an early family dinner. Inside seating was almost empty but we were told that we could only sit at a picnic table on the sidewalk in the wind. I am sure that we werenβt going to take an hour and a half to eat. Unless of course the service is as slow as previous reviews suggest.
