The food was very delicious and incredibly reasonably priced. The staff are super kind and the outdoor patio was a nice spot to sit!
Brooke was so friendly. And the food was awesome. Best meatball subs.
Service with a smile :).
Very good but expensive.
Nick’s has the best chicken in the Ottawa Valley!!
Nothing pairs better with a local beer & Hockey night in Canada than a box of Nick’s chicken.
I have also tried the fish and chips on three occasions on Fridays without disappointment every time it was delicious their homemade dill tartar sauce is A+++.
Hell i ever go to Kfc or Popeyes again. This is the best chicken in town and pizza and pasta mmmm . Take out only.
It is the best.
Hands down the best fried chicken around.. so glad we choose to give this place a shot.. we'll worth it.. worth the trip inside
Awesome original take out in Pembroke. Crispiest tender chicken ever and their pizzas? Viciously delicious! 👍🏻👍🏻

While visiting Pembroke I found this gem! Nick's has been at this same location since 1969, I had their fried chicken for dinner one night and I went back the next day to try their pizza. The 3 piece chicken meal was incredible and the gravy put a smile on my face. I could tell the recipe for the gravy was from an old school Greek diner chef, made from scratch with the right ingredients. You can't find gravy like that anymore, not even in some of the old school Greek/Italian diners.
The chicken was tender and juicy, the flavor was amazing and the crisp was just right.
Look, put it this way, there are two other fried chicken franchises in Pembroke both very close to Nick's, one is actually across the street and Nick's is still standing strong. That should tell you something about how good the chicken is at Nick's.
After that experience I just knew I had to go back for the pizza.
First thing is first, old school stone oven! Not garbage conveyor oven, so I knew their pizza was going to be much better then the average. Second everything they make is from scratch from the dough to the sauce and the dips.
They gave me two of their home made dips to try, one tasted like a buffalo BBQ sauce and the other was like a tzatziki or garlic dip, they were both great. I preferred the tzatziki but that's just personal preference.
The pizza didn't disappoint, it was far from the franchise garbage.
Next time I go back to Pembroke, I will check out the chicken wings and their old school submarine sandwiches.
If you're in Pembroke please check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

From all the reviews regarding Nick's fish & chips,(On Friday's) must say... people are right about the size of the fish. ( It is a large piece) It was done to perfection, very tasty. I had a gravy to go with the fries, it was way to salty and could have been just a little thicker, I also had some of their coleslaw which was not bad. I would definitely eat there again.
